For what it's worth this Travelodge is fantastic. The room was clean, warm, comfortable, and the staff were very, very friendly, helpful, and generous. I wouldn't hesitate to go here again on my next visit. There's no hot breakfast, but there are many great places nearby, very close to walk. They do however offer a "continental breakfast box" for just over £5 which contains cereal and milk, oat flapjack, apple juice, and a pain au chocolat. I liked it and it suited me! Can also be taken on the go.

Met Jennifer at reception when we arrived. She was lovely and so helpful when I had to change room due to accessibility.Rooms: Perfect size for us as my husband in mobility scooter. Room clean and comfy.Nearby activities: Perfect location for local shops and cafes.

This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. So noisy, cold, dirty and uncomfortable bed. There was bogeys that had been wiped on the wall and brown marks on the pillow. There was noise from upstairs and outside, It felt like the windows was open the whole time. There was also long hairs in the bath and near the shower.

It's been a while since I stayed here. The room was ok but the bathroom needed some decoration. The finish was peeling off the door, the unit in the bathroom had damage and the toilet seat hadn't been fitted correctly.Noteworthy details: Plenty of food outlets close by. Parking is a little tight near to the hotel.

Large rooms ,very friendly staff, located by a Harvester ,so there's somewhere close for eating out.Very cheap it cost £129 for three rooms with breakfast on the go for four. Breakfast consists of milk cereal and oat

Room looking tired, entrance to hotel partially blocked by what appeared to be homeless people and their dog.Dog excrement on path leading to front of hotel, was there all time we were there.

No aircon, bed was lumpy, pillows were lumpy, spiders in the rooms, the fan was useless, for £65 per night, the worst experience ever. I would have had a better night's sleep in my car. I've been to a Travelodge before, but this one was more like a hostel than a hotel. Never again will I stay at a Travelodge. This branch deserves less than zero stars. It's as if they don't want anyone visiting this town, but it worked will never ever stay at a Travelodge again, not even if it was free.

Highly recommend this place. Rooms , location perfect. Staff are excellent went above and beyond to help us and we took up at least 10 rooms. Especially Aqib on the reception. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and pubs.
