“One of the longer established charity shops in Sutton Coldfield, this Oxfam has stood on the corner of Holland Street and Birmingham Road for around about twelve years. The interior layout is often moved around which stops the shop from ever becoming too tired. When it first started this was a great place to pick up rare vinyl at a decent price, nowadays it stocks very few records and less CDs than it used to, but it has yet to go the way of stocking hundreds of damp-damaged Ray Conniff LPs so there's an element of quality over quantity at work. There is always a very good and broad selection of books in this particular Oxfam, always reasonably priced and more than always in good condition. In recent times, the shop has moved more and more into the area of selling its own ethical products (a woman in there the other day was asking if they still had any toilet cleaner in stock), which is undoubtedly great for some but to a nifty thrifter in search of valuable cast-offs, it appeals very little. With the charity shop sector growing to the point of saturation, perhaps it's a necessary evil to keep these very useful shops going.”

“What lovely staff. Always offered a cup of tea when you donate. I'm so glad I found them. Over years I felt out of place taking dontions to shops. As they sort through the bags seeing what they want then giving you stuff back. I love you can also donate food. Great to see a charity shop that gives back to its community. Not watesting money on very expensive till systems which so sadly so many charity shops do. All they make is given back. I would highly recommend to pop in. Nice little shop with great prices. Well done to them”
