This store really needs some help! The shelves especially fresh produce are rarely stocked. It?s virtually impossible to find anything in this store. I have to be honest in that I check the out of dates religiously but sent husband to go grab some sliced chicken for a special picnic. It is 4 days out of date! Sticky and smelly. I can?t use this. This isn?t acceptable to me. Maybe someone from upper management needs to surprise check this store. It?s not clean and overall is a disgrace. Other Tescos we have shopped at are not like this one. Only reason this store got two stars from me is because the staff are friendly/helpful.

Popped into Tesco (Sutton Coldfield) to get some shopping on 03/07/2025 just before 9pm. Went to checkout 020, chubby looking Asian girl called Maryam was serving and chatting away with this customer, I was patiently waiting only to be told in a rude manner she is closing her till and to move to another till, clearly she was not serving at this time and was flirting away with this same customer. I therefore moved to till 019 and whilst waiting to get served, this Maryam carried on serving new customers after. This was not just rude but unprofessional, if she wanted to flirt with this previous customer, why not just do it in her break time, why make me move and then carry on serving new customers! Seriously Tesco has gone downhill with their choice of employees, It?s a total shame, Sutton Coldfield is such a nice area then Tesco recruits employees from Alum Road. SHAME ON YOU TESCO!

On the whole decent. I don?t like the fresh meat though. Poor quality. Also, there is not a good variety of cooked meat to choose from. I also think they should police the parent and child parking bays. Really winds me up when you can?t get a spot because people who don?t need them use them!! Infuriating!!!
The food in the cafe is nice. And the staff are lovely!

Me and my family came here for the first time and it was okay. It was very busy and was hard to get places so would not recommend coming in big groups the staff were lovely and very helpful. Despite the rude customers they kept a smile and helped us happily. Will definitely come here more but if you are in a rush then maybe go somewhere else. They have scan and go which is helpful and makes shopping much faster.

Worst store ever store manager and senior don't know how to keep the store tidy and they have no staff at all think have staff in 2 places at once very dirty store aswel never seen a tesco like this rubbish everywhere these managers get paid way too much u need more staff n honesty normal staff are so polite if I was anyone stay away from this tesco nice store but management wise very let down and most of the times shelfs are empty not good bring more staff to help us customers
