Had my service done here 21/10/23. Brilliant customer service, kept updated online of the progress. Fully explained what parts i needed told it be there on Monday, which it was, the technician fitted there and then! Even went out of his way to do so as i didnt park outside.Brilliant service.

AVOID! Wish I had read previous reviews before using this garage. Booked in person for vehicle safety check and agreed 10am. 3.5 hours later it would not have been completed if I had not stood by my vehicle! Tracker on line not updated. I had elderly parent at home and would not have booked if I knew it would take so long.I was told they had not booked me in until 12 midday?? I walked past garage at 12.30 and it was still in place I had parked it. I had advised I needed report for a job application and now told they cannot do this. 3 hours later not even received an invoice. I shall have to have done again at another garage. Exceptionally poor customer service. I would definitely not recommend.

My car had a coolant warning light come on, lifted the bonnet to find no coolant present. Halfords investigated and advised it was an internal problem in the engine and I needed to get the car towed to a dealers. I did this (not cheap!) only for the dealer to call me up and say the issue was the coolant hose had come off and they had no idea how Halfords missed it.This was several months ago, the car has done hundreds and hundreds of miles since and the coolant is still fine so there was no other issue.It's hard to trust them with my car after this experience, I won't be using them for service and MOT again.Service: General repairs & maintenance

MOT failed due to phone holder didn't remove!!! The staff didn't remind me to remove it or they didn't help to remove... Ridiculous!!!!

Bought a anti theft lock that had to be changed 2 times as couldnt fit the steering lock, cashier were all soo helpful and even the security guy too??Thanks

Pretty hopeless as are most Halford's Autocentres, never seem to have any parts in stock and keep referring you back to your car's dealer. Still waiting for a call back on a part for 10 days.

The staff are very polite especially Tony, I think a drinks machine would be nice while customers are waiting.

It does the job you'd expect. I wouldn't take out extra tyre warranties personally as I don't think it's good value. Decent payment options inc 12 months payment plans interest free which is a nice touch for expensive purchases.

Booked a slot on line to change my battery. Arrived just before allotted time. Told it would be in workshop at time booked. Went off for coffee. Half an hour after time slot, car still on forecourt. Some firm words sent someone scurrying to sort it. When the operation to remove battery started, it was a little disconcerting to hear operative deliver some expletives as to battery's position and felt a little uneasy as to their competence.The job did get done but at 'at a cost in time' and not much in the way if an apology. Hey ho ?

Please DO NOT use this Halfords, they have left me with the impression of being scamming money makers, I have used other Halfords in the past and have had no problems, first time using this one in Sutton Coldfield town centre and I would rate them a 3/10 firstly when handing over the car was?nt greeted properly and just told to leave keys on desk, they should have taken keys off me properly and put in secure place, at the end of the day it?s how you deal with someone?s valuables represents how you conduct things, so I had my mot when I went to collect car they said it failed, I was surprised and thought it?s going to be be something big that needs fixing, but when I asked what they failed it for I felt cheated, the fail was because of phone holder in the windscreen which is a removable one so i don?t see the danger in it also it?s places on right side in the corner so that my view is not obstructed, I feel they could have done this as a advisory instead of a fail, then they wanted me to rebook with them, which makes me think they just wanted more money out of me, they weren?t helpful when I questioned it, maybe they think they can get away with it if your female, engineer was Ken please avoid this placeService: Electrical

Kept my sons car for 8 days following a failed MOT. Didn?t quote on parts or how long it would take to do, we called daily and was told they?d check and call back, no one called back once! On the 8th day I booked into Kwik Fit and collected the car. They couldn?t find the keys initially, however the technician had them! They said it was difficult to quote on a TPS part (VW) and said my son had been handed a piece of paper with a quote by the technician, firstly my son hadn?t been in to be handed said piece of paper, and if it?s hard to quote, what was the quote on the fictitious piece of paper? Secondly, we had been using this place for 3 years with no issues & always had quotes emailed to us, not handed a scrap piece of paper, that?s not how a ?professional company? do things. My son has emailed their HQ customer services outlining our issues, and still hasn?t heard back from them. Poor service from the company all togetherService: General repairs & maintenance

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! Booked in for Service and MOT. Appointment was at 8 and took all day. On picking up my car i noticed they had scratch 3 of my diamond cut alloys. Im a pregnant woman so probably thought i wouldn't notice. Had a claim in for 2 months with customers service and refused to take any responsibility for the damage! It's clear the damage was fresh and done by them but just money grabbing a__holes with no morals.Service: Brake service & repair
