I'm highly suspicious of all the recent 5* reviews for this letting agency.I initially rented out a property with them in 2017 - at which point I would have rated them 4*, for being sloppy at delivering what they promised but fast to take payments.From Nov-23, the check out with my tenant was poorly managed. Email responses to my requests were not responded to. Phone calls to the branch were often diverted to other branches and never responded to. On the very rare occasions that a Sutton staff member answered the phone, the account manager for my property had always, "just stepped away, and would be back in 10 minutes".Money due to me was returned after 6 weeks after the agent had finally made the instruction to their finance department to do so.Money due to my former tenant is still outstanding.

Very very Bad experience with the maintenance team.I moved into my flat on October 20th and immediately reported several maintenance issues to the agency, specifically to an individual named Tiffany, who is responsible for maintenance. Despite repeated attempts to communicate the urgency of these repairs, which include unfinished painting, a jammed main entrance lock, a window in the bathroom that won?t close properly, and faulty light fixtures potentially due to electrical issues, there has been little to no action taken.It has been over four months, and the response from the maintenance team has been dishearteningly slow and ineffective. The few attempts made to address these issues were incomplete, and often, the problems were misreported to the repair staff, leading to no real solutions being provided.This level of service is unacceptable and has significantly impacted my living situation. I am sharing my experience to raise awareness and urge potential tenants to consider this when choosing their next home. The lack of urgency and care shown by the maintenance team, especially Tiffany, has made my living experience extremely difficult, and I hope this review helps others make informed decisions.
