I have always enjoyed visiting Costa Coffee and have been a loyal customer for years. However, my recent experience at this branch was far below the standards I have come to expect.
I was seated in the café for about five hours, busy with my online work, when one of the staff members, Bonnie, approached me. She asked me to either buy another drink or leave the café. Additionally, she told me not to move from one chair to another. I was shocked and embarrassed by her tone as she behaved in a rude and very unprofessional manner. That incident made me feel extremely unwelcome.
I hope this feedback helps them to improve customer service!!

Ordered an iced latte caramel today and asked for a straw so I could use it to stir and drink whilst I was walking. But was told the lid has a hole and I don't need a straw. That was fine as I was thinking they probably ran out. But as I was leaving I spotted most customers were given a straw to drink with their iced drinks. After walking with the drink for about 5 minutes the milk was still settled at the bottom and the coffee and caramel was on the top. Tried to shake, bit was not possible as the lid was leaking too. It had to be binned! Just poor service offered by the owner (Franchise I believe). Which should know better trying to save a paper straw. Should had stirred it before serving.

Today I popped into Costa Sutton Coldfield and I was served by a Barista called Jack. He was so attentive, and as someone who used to be a barista, he made me a hot chocolate so perfectly, he didn't skip or rush a step. This was a truly hand-crafted hot chocolate. I t tasted beautiful and he's service was excellent<3

Unfortunately, the miserable server spoilt this visit .She looked like she hated every minute of serving me . ( Light brown hair with a pony tail, blue plaster on her right ear ) Definitely wouldn't return.
