Very nice environment. Good fresh selection of cakes and toasted sandwiches and other food options. Drinks decent. Ok so you do pay a little more, but it was a quiet and pleasant cafe. Been a few times and always good. Small pizza Focaccia bread salami and mozzarella toasted sandwich. Tea Coffee. Just under £20.

I always visit Cafe Botanico when in the area. The food is varied and good, especially the interesting salads. The staff are unfailingly friendly and efficient.

Would refuse to give us a cup of hot water to warm baby bottle due to ?health and safety? but happily give us a cup of water for a tea if we pay £2.60. Sounds like we can be trusted with hot water if we pay for it. Never had this issue with any other cafe.

This place is a real find, the tea and coffee are good, the food is tasty and there's a great choice, the cakes are great but the service makes the place brilliant! Younger people do the serving (that's probably a reflection of my age rather than theirs) and they are so helpful, polite, knowledgeable and they have a ready smile and a sense of humour. We love popping in for lunch, it's a treat and it's reasonably priced, just superb.

A very friendly, well organised team of serving staff, superbly led by manager Rose. Her customer care skills are of the highest order. Always sparing a moment for pleasantries and very focused on meeting customer needs. I do hope her managers will acknowledge her hard and first class work.

Great place for lunch. Lovely atmosphere, Greek salad and focaccia with ham and Swiss cheese was very good. Coffee was nice as was the Earl Grey tea. Probably the best non pub place for lunch in Sutton at present.

Unfortunately there is one of the worst customer services in the Dior section at House of Fraser at Grace church centre. I went twice to shop for Dior products but I didn't buy anything because of the seller's behaviour. I never come back to the house of Fraser for shopping.

Cafe was nice when first installed but still think it is in a strange place. HOF has gone down hill since being sold. Starting to resemble a Primark but at higher end prices. Lot of sports clothing and bikes!

Today I went in to house of fraser to purchase a suit for a funeral. The lad who served me named Aaron was great and very helpful, he managed to put a smile on our faces during this hard time and made sure the service went great, I couldn't find a customer review page for the store so decided to do on here.

I like House of Frazer for it kind service and staff. I have heard many wonderful saying about it from people who are always telling me where to go for that gift you can't find anywhere else. One of the sale ladies I do remember who was very kind and pleasant was Ms. Sara Tomlinson. Being in business for 40+ years, she represents the future of your selling staff to achievement of the store and corporate. Robert Maffitt Ambassador of Wilmington, N.C. USA

The former Beatties department store has managed to retain its character and friendliness despite becoming part of the HoF group. Spaced over three floors, the store offers a compact range of fashion, beauty and homewear. The main reason for my visit once a fortnight is to take advantage of the Benito Brow Bar, which offers a superb service every time.

House of Fraser is the ultimate in shopping for anyone who wants to feel they're spending just a bit more than they ought, for the that feeling of decadence and slight wrecklessness. The HoF in the Gracechurch Shopping Centre in Sutton Coldfield is slightly smaller than most, which I really enoyed. Instead of that overwhelming department store feel, the smaller size offered a more relaxed browsing feel, and more easily-located concessions within the store. There is a brow bar and a manicure/pedicure station, offering some of the nicest of each of those services in Sutton. There is also a small cafe offering some nice cakes and sandwiches and hot drinks. The Bay shop in here as well as the Oasis are both rather nice, with great fitting rooms and some very helpful ladies. The jewelry section is small, but offers some very nice, interesting pieces I've not seen in another HoF. I ended up buying some pieces for my honeymoon which I've gotten a lot of compliments on. No matter the time of day, this HoF is never crushed with people, so again, the shopping experience is much more relaxed and less manic than normal.

My review is focusing on the Cafe inside the House of Fraser. I have to say that it felt dark and miserable in the cafe. It was definately frequented by the older generation and the staff members seemed to work at about the same speed rate. There were several staff members behind the counter but none of them seemed to have defined roles and were tripping over each other half the time. I found the selection of food OK but quite pricey. My friend and I both had jacket potatoes and having waited 15 minutes for them to be delivered to us they were cold. We didn't complain so do not no what would have happened if we had. This is a let down for a Department Store cafe.

House of Fraser is set in the middle of the Grace Church Shopping Centre in Sutton Coldfield. It is quite limited but still has a small selection of goods such as a perfumary, makeup counters, gift section, faith shoes (small selection), Oasis, warehouse, Kookai, luggage department (small selection), homewhere (quite good), mens department consisting of shirts and some casual clothing (terrible selection), coast (small selection), mexx (small selection) and a small principles section. There is a cafe on the top floor, whenever i go it is full of pensioners as they have a lot of offers for the older generation, it is always full and quite difficult to get a table. It is also very dated and not an attractive place to sit and enjoy your lunch.
