Like most WH shops, the staff are great (there are one or two exceptions), the store interiors are for the most part welcoming, and the terminals are easy enough to use once you get used to them, despite the constant glitches and slow operating speeds. So it's a shame - and a nuisance - that the staff lack fundamental knowledge of the in-store offers, which has always seemed very odd to me. Same with the free bets that often don't work, or don't print off when they are supposed to. All you get is 'contact head office'. It all amounts to a serious amount of hassle that puts customers off from claiming bonuses that they have legitimately earned. Hill's also encourage customers to place unlimited amounts of cash bets to qualify for free bets ( I know this because their customer services said so via email), then only allow one single free bet to be used per day per customer. Sneaky bit of 'gaming' the customers, but that's what bookmakers do unfortunately.\\n\\nIn conclusion, the vast majority of the staff are incredibly friendly, but there is a lack of leadership in-store, and there appears to be a fundamental lack of communication between the head office and the shop staff, especially regarding the in-store offers.
