I have been a customer at this store for over 6 years. I keep going back there, because it?s my local store where I am always made to feel welcome. Joanne and the other team members are always helpful and friendly and it?s never too much trouble for them not matter how many questions I have. Iused to buy quite a few books from Amazon and Waterstones ( hope it?s ok to mention names) but these days I check The Works first. More than anything else I think it?s the ? human? factor based on the service and lovely staff which make it worth returning time and again. If you haven?t already visited I recommend it to everyone.

Whilst visiting this store today I was super impressed by the helpfulness of the staff Rebekah and Jo ( hope I've got those names right). I asked for help to find books on a particular topic. Both of these members of staff set about finding all of the books they had for me, Jo kneeling on the floor to sort through all of the books and Rebekah going upstairs to find any more books they had which had not been put out yet.Thank you ladies. I will definitely be visiting again!

The works is a fantastic place to shop. The staff are very friendly, helpful. I go in regularly. My little one loves the shop too. I can always find what I'm after in the store. The manger is lovely and helps and make everyone welcome.
