Went into the stourbridge store today looking for a certain author and Jo was so helpful. She found one of the books on the shelf and searched the storeroom to find another one. She even rang another store to see if they had one of the books that she didn't have!

Went into Stourbridge store to buy lots of crafty/stationery items for my grandaughter?s birthday . The lady assistant couldn?t have been more helpful! She ran around the store for a good half hour, collecting the dozens of things on the birthday girl?s wish list.. she was so friendly and kind to both me and my 80 something year old mum - we are both less than agile these days. Many thanks for making the outing such a happy one ??

Recently came into this store looking for a specific book. The shop assistants Jo and Becky couldn?t do enough to help out a find the book even staying open after close to find it from the stores upstairs.

I have been a customer at this store for over 6 years. I keep going back there, because it?s my local store where I am always made to feel welcome. Joanne and the other team members are always helpful and friendly and it?s never too much trouble for them not matter how many questions I have. Iused to buy quite a few books from Amazon and Waterstones ( hope it?s ok to mention names) but these days I check The Works first. More than anything else I think it?s the ? human? factor based on the service and lovely staff which make it worth returning time and again. If you haven?t already visited I recommend it to everyone.
