Excellent day with a knowledgeable and skilled teacher. Am waiting and hoping everything is OK after its day in the colling process!

Brilliant day with Martin. Very skilled at supporting beginners to achieve good results and left with a huge sense of achievement. Also appreciated the flexibility after an accident prevented me attending the original date. Cannot recommend enough. Thank you

Fantastic day Glass Blowing. We were taught how to make glasses, paper weights and baubles! I would highly recommend Martin Andrews. His work is very impressive and he was very welcoming. We will absolutely be going back for another experience.

Commission accepted in October, needed for 2nd March. Was told by email and in person would be ready by Christmas. Kept delaying, said it was a difficult piece to make but could be done. Piece ready the day it was needed. NOTHING like the photograph I had sent. Had to refuse to accept it. Ruined an 80th birthday surprise I had waited over 4 months for. Shouldn't accept commissions he cannot make.

Ordered a piece of glass for a 50th Wedding anniversary. Very pleased and my mother was delighted.

Martin is a great host and teacher. I bought the day class as a Christmas present for my other half and she couldn't have loved it more. We got to make a whole host of different things and Martin was really happy to help teach anything we could think of. Time goes so fast as you just get engrossed in the skills and techniques you learn throughout the day. Plus you get to keep all of your creations! Amazing experience!

We were able to watch Martin at work and chat about the process. He also has a small showroom where you can buy his work at very reasonable prices.

We visited to have some drinking glasses repaired. While we were waiting we visited some of the individual craft workshops which were fascinating. The work produced by these artisans is varied in concept, style and size. We were particularly taken with wall and table art produced from old glass cathode ray tube TV screens. Each piece was completely individual and sure to be a talking point when friends visit. There are also glass blowers, but none of these were operating when we visited. There is also a college on site and a small cafe. It's definitely worth a visit if you have an hour or so to spare.

I really enjoy visiting here. I was also a former student of the adjacent Glasshouse College, a short while ago. If you love organic food, then this is the place for you. There are also many small industrial and company units and business, that offer a wide range of product and services. I particular enjoy eating the food that the cafe serves, such as: The potato meals, organic pizzas, ice creams and organic coffee and tea. This place is well worth a visit, so I would recommend that you also come for the many special events on offer, too, and the occasional drama productions. Overall, I really enjoy regularly coming here, and i would recommend this place to others.
