I brought a gta 5 disc and it took 7 hrs to download and then it stopped at 52% and then said "Disc is either broken or dirty" I cleaned it and it still wouldn't work and I didn't get refund.They are selling faulty items the cheapscapes!

The worst customer service and staff I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Three women with no clue between them. The first one quotes the wrong price even though she 'checked it'. The second one tells me that the testing time for the device will be 40 minutes and it took her 2 hours! The third one blames me for leaving a code on the device when all you needed to do was press and hold three buttons to reset everything on the device. This is what happens when you hire pathetic women with no technical knowledge. I'm very happy to take my business elsewhere.

having been constantly trading in games for years now with no problem.. only for one ds game to get wrongly flagged as a fake when it wasn't.....your staff need more experience in handling and identifying retro games especially when they can't tell the difference between why some games are marked a certain way and others aren't....I understand they're told to look out for pokemon games but there is clearly some ill informed advice going around the store...it's just frustrating as a game collector, trying to explain to your staff why the one ds game they think is fake isn't, when they've clearly been told about looking for things which are on gba carts....

Sent me to buy a lead for a ps3 I was selling them said after 24 hours that there was a small flap missing so wouldn?t buy it. Wouldn?t refund the lead. Attitude of the manager stinks. Avoid at all costs.

Well what can I say really CEX are normally OK, but on this experience with the stourbridge branch left me a bit annoyed to be honest, took in a Samsung s6 Edge plus to sell, now this phone was mint, in box with all the accessories, there were no marks on the phone, no scratches on the screen or the back, basically as new and they tested it and found no faults with it, but and here's the bit that annoyed me, they took it as grade b, why because the box wasn't like new(a label stuck to box was a bit tatty), I mean really it's a six year old phone,and the phone was mint complete with all the accessories.Oh well you live and learn, thanks very much CEX that will be the last time I recommend you to anyone and I do alot of gaming pc repairs so I regularly recommend them to customers for replacement parts.. but no more..

Friendly, professional and helpful staff. Excellent customer service given and time taken by the staff to ensure the customer is happy. I honestly found it a far nicer experience than the Merry Hill store which is always too busy and feels very rushed from a customer point of view

Great place to go and get second hand tech such as (but not limited to) smart phones, laptops, smart watches, games and consoles, DVD's etc. and feels modern yet nostalgic at the same time which is what makes it such a fun experience for myself personally. A lot of items are great value for money but in some circumstances you do scratch your head in wonder at why you'd spend (for example) 900£ for a phone in their window that you can get from ebay for 200£ cheaper. If you don't mind paying the surplus for the convenience of having said item "NOW", then it's worth it. I also understand that this is a business and they need to make a profit to pay their staff.That being said the majority of items really are well priced, it's just a couple of stand alones that were boggling. If you're looking for a cheap box set or games for yourself or your kids, this is truly your go-to. The staff seem friendly, knowledgeable and work fast so no complaints on that front. Great store overall.

Whatever you do DO NOT trust their repair service. Destroyed my PS5 and took over a month in the process. it came back battered. it was like a new pin when I took it in for repair.Further to CEX reply - what a joke I have complained several times and you are not interested - unless!!
