Friendly greeting from staff on reception.Vet called Mitzy by name and talked to her keeping her calm.Explained what was going on throughout examination. Certainly recommend Blacks Vets In Lye Stourbridge.

The vet was very good with our dog, listened to me about my dog issues. I would have given 5 stars for how our dog was looked after, The ladies on reception was lovely. Been taking our dog here for yrs so have every faith in the staff. However I was prescribed medication for my dog ear infection and a bit of wax which was extremely costly and once checked the prices at pet stores i was charged over half the cost I could have paid from a pet store. My bill for consultation and 1 medication and an ear wax cleaner. £155. If brought from pet store bill would have been £95. I phoned and asked for a refund on the ear cleaner as not used and told no refund once left the surgery even though it was less then 24 hrs after and not been used. I understand them adding a little on top for convenience but double. Lesson learnt. Ask what meds are needed buy else where.

Have a large dog who is reactive to other dogs and does not like the vets. It took several visits and a lot of help but we got there in the end. Can't thank the whole team enough for their help.

This veterinary surgery is by far the best I?ve ever had an animal treated at. All staff are professional, caring and compassionate.We recently had to have our beloved cat put to sleep after an ongoing health condition, and the service throughout couldn?t have been better.If your looking for a vets that clearly cares about the animals they treat this is the place.

Fantastic vets, fantastic service from the vets to the nurses to the reception staff. All staff are very welcoming and friendly. Bart was amazing with my little one and the reception team greeted me and my pet very warmly and paid special attention to my pet, made him at ease. Always welcomed with a smile and should your pet ever become unwell they well bend over backwards to help you out. Definitely recommend ?

swopped to blacks vets from manor vets, so glad i did, the reception staff are wonderful, obviously care about animals they see. only downside is the small car park but there is a public one nearby which i am happy to use. my elderly dog has to go every 5 wks for an injection and i know he is in good hands. their pet health life plan is a fantastic idea and saves so much money. well done blacks vets, the staff in your lye branch are fabulous.

Everyone from reception to the vets are all very friendly, the vet's will explain everything about your animals illness also explaining what medication your pet will be given, we have been using Black's vets since they opened there surgery in Lye in the middle of 1980's.I would not consider going anywhere elseDr Bart looks after Aramis, we can't fault his professionalism he has a very good way with our boy although at the moment it will be Dr Philip who will do Aramis's tendonectomy on his feet, Philip is also very good with Aramis.Personally i don't think you can fault any of the Vet's at Black's Vet's they have specialist Vet's in quite a few area's.

They always do everything possible to keep your pet healthy and happy , and they always try to accommodate to fit you in whenever needed, I would never go anywhere else. Fantastic five***** service, and just really nice people!

Blacks Vets always go above and beyond for our pets demonstrating real passion, empathy and dedication.On our last few visits we've been delivered really difficult news but the staff are always amazing, responding with genuine care and integrity.

Excellent vets. We have been with the practice for over 30 + years and would not go anywhere else. Our dogs are always rescued often with an unknown or complicated history. In addition, they are nearly always a large breed. Highly recommend the vet named Bart based at the Lye practice. He has been brilliant in the past with my Belguim Shepherd and Alaskan Mal (sadley both passed with old age). Bart is currently caring for our new pack member, Aylaska, another rescued Mal (see photo)Bart is very empathic to the welfare of the dog and breed and the history requirements of the dog. Thank you, Bart.
