So highly rated, but was left underwhelmed.
Popped in today at 3pm for jacket potatoes, and 2 pots of tea. Served quickly and efficiently.
Tea was decent, had to go back up to collect sugar as nothing is left on the tables.
The jacket potato was large, with a generous topping. I was disappointed at no side salad, very usual for a cafe, and the potato itself was just microwaved and quite dry.
It was edible, and the cafe itself was pleasant but not somewhere I'd need to go back to.

Brilliant selection on the menu as well as on the specials board . Excellent quality and authentic Italian food. Drinks were splendid. Would highly recommend this cafe.

I had a takeaway leek & potato soup. As well as 2 lattes as we sat outside. I've got to say. This soup is delicious. It's so light & tasty. Best leek & potato soup I've EVER had. The service is impeccable too. Give it a try yourselves. You won't be disappointed. Will be back soon. ??

Feeling conspicuous because I have to mask (waiting for some operations) - sat outside this marvellous cafe with adorable staff. The coffee is fab and piping hot. Had homemade raspberry cheesecake which was absolutely gorgeous. Thank you for the kindness and best welcome. You are ??????????

Lovely little cafe, that feels cosy and welcoming. The staff are very friendly, thoughtful, and kind.
The food was very nice, and plenty of drinks to pick from, as well as a mouth-watering selection of cakes.

We use this cafe frequently. There is always a warm welcome and staff are both friendly and helpful. The menu is extensive and the cakes are well worth a 'dabble'. The café is very well appointed and comfortable.

Always a warm welcome whether for a coffee and pastry, a baguette or soup. Gets very busy most days of the week so please be patient as its a small kitchen and the staff battle to keep up a full service on all fronts. If you have a food or other allergy ALWAYS be specific as they are too busy to remember faces and conditions. They are always happy to try to accommodate folk with allergies.
Dietary restrictions: They are very helpful for guten free diners but please be specific. Some stocks run out but they will adapt a menu item where possible for you. Always specify every time you dine as they cannot remember us all.

I went in here with my partner for the first time today. We?ve always walked past and wanted to go in but it?s been really busy - we managed to sneak in today.Brilliant food. Homemade. Brilliant service.We ordered two paninis and a bowl of chips and the panini bread was fresh, the filling was tasty, the chips were proper home fried chips I used to have when I was younger - real nostalgia kick.The atmosphere was lovely, every table was filled with people just enjoying their afternoon, drinking coffee and catching up with friends inbetween their errands.Really looking forward to going back!
