A fabulous little find when visiting a local National Trust property. Absolutely excellent service and even better food. If you're ever passing definitely pop in .

Not really what we hoped for as canal-side grub after a busy day full of locks. The number of Range Rovers, Porsches and Audis in the car-park should have given the game away, but as pretty much the only pub in Lapworth there wasn?t much choice!
Our server was excellent. Humorous, attentive and polite. Our food was excellent too , so in a strange way, we were disappointed not to find what we were looking for but pleased with what we found. Make of that what you will.

It?s a beautiful pub in beautiful lapworth. My brother and I went for Sunday dinner, it was lovely but you didn?t get a lot for what you paid for we had 2 thin slices of roast beef and I just think if your paying £21.95 you would get at least 4 slices of beef even if it?s good quality roast dinners have really crept up in price I wasn?t as full as I would have like to have been the portion wasn?t as big, maybe some people prefer a smaller roast dinner but I?m not one of those people unfortunately ?!! Its a busy thriving restaurant. Service was good and the atmosphere was really nice. ??

We had a fantastic meal here for my husband?s 50th birthday. There were 10 of us for a family meal, food was lovely, every single one of us remarked on how enjoyable it was. We were really well looked after by the young, friendly staff. The Boot have it just right in making it feel special without it being too stuffy.

The Manager saw us come in off the canal boat and we were not dressed smart, even though it clearly is a higher-end establishment. We were not looked down at, and the Manager, and all the staff all engaged with us with a very friendly attitude, even showing us the garden facilites. The drinks selection was great, and I heard several patrons that were dining comment on the excellent food. Prices were good, in my opinion across the food and drinks menus. Great free house, highly recommended. Many Thanks. Brad

Exceptional food, attentive staff and great location. I cannot fault our dining experience today (Sunday 29th June 25). The Cherry & Pistachio bakewell with clotted cream was to die for. We will be back, soon.

We were there for a private party, a 21st birthday so we didn't buy food. George was our waiter and he was super, an absolute superstar.

My husband and myself have just had a Sunday roast at The Boot to celebrate our wedding anniversary...I'd like to say firstly that the staff were brilliant, very helpful and accommodating. We had booked this particular restaurant as we had visited many times a few years ago when we lived in Lapworth, we always enjoyed our times there. However we were very disappointed today. When we arrived we were shown to a table, which I can only describe as a nursery table, children would struggle to be comfortable in. It was so close to the table in front that we would all have struggled to be comfortable. Also the light above us was flickering badly. We were moved to another table, right in the doorway between the restaurant and the the conservatory. It was cold and the constant stream of staff and customers made it impossible to eat there. We were moved again into the conservatory, this time the seating was adequate. I ordered the roast beef, when it arrived it was tasty but I really needed a steak knife to cut it. I understand that a lot of people like their veg al dente but!!!! Mine was straight from the ground! I couldn't eat it. The cauliflower cheese was the same, rock hard and bad in the middle! The dessert however was really delicious. Sadly though we won't be returning. I know it was Sunday afternoon but screaming children and barking dogs. Definitely not!

Visited for Sunday lunch. Was very impressed with the service. The Pork was delicious and my wife had the beef which she loved. The desserts were excellent too. The only downside was that we were hurried into finishing our meal because the table was booked, but despite this I would recommend this inn.

Lovely place with some very high-quality food. The service is outstanding and the atmosphere was great, apart from being a little too warm throughout the evening. I do feel like it is expensive, but it's a nice place to go for the odd special occasion. Probably the best lamb I've ever had.
I did feel abit awkward when the bill arrived and the optional service charge was written on... I felt abit pressured into paying it...considering the price of the final bill, the service charge was more than a meal and starter put together
Dietary restrictions: Excellent selection of vegetarian and gluten free options

Good food at a price. Some of the mains are very filling but others may leave you hungry. All are of great quality.
Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian and vegan options.

Thoroughly delightful pub with busy yet pleasant atmosphere, even though busy with a private function, staff were friendly, polite and very attentive.
We had the confit duck and pork cutlet, both were superb, delicious and ample portion size (with new potatoes arriving after the photo was taken)
Highly recommended and will definitely be visiting again soon.
