Just came across this space and can't believe there are so many 5 star reviews. My experience, admittedly before Christmas now was in no way 5 star. I made an appointment for an eye test for contact lenses and when I turned up was told I was there for a contact lens check. I explained the situation and sat down. The lady came over again to confirm I was there for a contact lens check and I pointed out I was wearing glasses. Half an hour after my appointment time a man came over and said, of course, that I was there for a contact lens check. I explained again what I was there for. He said I should give him my prescription, which I told him I didn't have and I wanted an eye test. He again asked for my prescription and I walked out. Never again.

I love the new store Specsavers, I used to always think of going to Specsavers as a horrible errand every time I needed to go, but it makes it more of a pleasurable experience when entering this well lit beautiful shop. Also I wanted to mention how wonderful Ruby is! She sorted my problem with my glasses straight away, I had a mix up and some trouble with my previous pair of glasses and she sorted it out, and trusted me to return the old pair when convenient (I told you I would)

Since this store moved to a bigger and better location, the service has seriously declined. 20 minutes every time I call it takes go speak to someone, there just doesn?t seem to be any personal care any longer even when in the store

They were nice and helped me repair a pair of glasses I had taken a seat on. I was in and out in 10 minutes and the employee was very personable.
