Never long queues like there used to be before the move. Always found staff friendly and helpful. Long opening hours

If I'm being completely honest... the staff are usually aggressive, unhelpful and seem to work as slowly as possible. Every now and again the service is ok. Really need to keep the self service tills open throughout the whole weekend, this would address the queues / waits as well. Much better opening hours since move into WHSmiths.

Absolutely disgusting that you cannot speak to anyone on the phone. When you go through the options you are directed to a web site!

I've lived in Solihull for over 40 years. The most depressing place ever built. I have no problem with the staff but God the place needs demolishing (as does every post office in the entire country come to think of it)

I am going to Solihull post office twice a week and using the business section or counter and and always I am waiting for 20/30 with my ticket number, itâ??s because there isnâ??t any one to serve me. Just looking to them the when the gonna call me but No, no one is bother. Very slow service, itâ??s the only post office in Solihull otherwise I wouldnâ??t go there.
So my advice is you donâ??t have someone to serve customers then close the business section that people know that itâ??s close.

Perhaps I was just having a bad day but the self service tills were playing up, the staff seemed disinterested and when I left I felt that I had just had the worst customer service that I had ever received in a Post Office for a very long time..
I saw one member of staff take a customers parcel and throw it over his shoulder into the post bag at the back of the service area..
I asked for some advice around posting a certain size letter and was told to get a ticket and wait in line, despite their being no customers seeking immediate attention..
When I could not find the 'ticket machine' I had to ask another member of staff to point it out - I suggested a sign would be of assistance for other customers trying to identify where to get the 'get in line tickets' from and her retort was "You don't expect it to be that helpful do you?"...
and who said Customer Service is dying, in her it was dead!

Awful post office. No staff on normal terminals. Only machines - half of which don't take cash. Idiot supposed to be helping stands about looking lost whilst directing you to a booth no one is maning. Avoid
