Our first time eating at this chain and... Lords, what a complete mess.
We arrived at 6pm for dinner, made our orders and waited... Our entrees came out after about 20 minutes... Not a great start. It's a busy Saturday night, but still.
Got to about 1 hour before we finally flagged someone down to ask where our mains were... Eventually after flagging her down AGAIN, we are informed that the order got lost... Very sorry, 5 to 10 minutes.
They finally do come out, sides are coming. Parmigiana is pretty sad looking... Not much cheese, not particularly crispy breading. Pizzas look Fine.
Sides come as I am finishing my main ? crispy potatoes... I take a bite and it's not particularly crispy... Oh, and still mildly frozen. Great. Flag someone down, send them back.
They get shunted through whatever machine again and returned with an apology from the manager.
In total we were there for over 2 hours, pretty dismal service (obviously understaffed) food was average and the price was definitely much higher than it was worth. Doubt I'll be back.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. I can't overstate this enough. They are a testament to your team and should be used as an example of how to deal with and treat your customers. Food was also delicious. *chef's kiss*

Great food and food service. Took quite a while to be seated, but when the manager (I assume) stepped in, the line cleared in 5min! It was excellent. Food was fantastic and the satff were very friendly. Good reminders to use the app to check in too, much appreciated.

Why don't you cut the pizzas properly or at all? Please sharpen your pizza cutters or just get new ones. And please cut the children's pizzas, it takes seconds.

Awful service. Waited 20 minutes without having my order taken. Told the manager, he did not seem to care. The restaurant was not busy. Plenty of staff standing around doing nothing

Visited Pizza Express today for my 7 year olds birthday & had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Our waitress Sophie gave 10\10 customer service & deserves recognition for that. She was super friendly, efficient & happy to help with our cake & any additional crayons requests from my children. All staff we encountered were equally friendly & helpful. The food was delicious & served within great time frames. Will definitely frequent this Pizza Express again & recommend it to friends! Thanks!

The place was empty and it still took them 40 mins to cook 1 pizza and a garlic bread. We only ordered as it was supposed to take 10 mins. When the food finally came they said there was nothing they could do to make up for the wait.

Thank God that we were able to redeem Tesco clubcard vouchers for our meal or we would have had to leave to eat elsewhere. The charge was £50.00 for a pizza leggere which was nice (but more like a snack portion) and my partner ordered a gluten-free pizza which we thought would be as large as the other pizzas we could see on other tables. We initially thought he?d been served the wrong pizza as it was very small and the protein toppings were very minimal. These pizzas with two drinks were £50.00 which is way overpriced. The order was akso incorrect as my partner ordered 0% alcohol beer and was brought an alcoholic one. We won?t be returning and will stick to Zizzi from now on as they offer gluten-free large pizzas with plenty of protein toppings!

The most stingy pizza I?ve ever seen. I ordered a combo two meat pizza. I actually thought the waitress brought a veggie pizza by mistake. I found three pieces of chicken and the beef was nonexistent. Nearly £50 for two miserly pizzas and two drinks. Never again
