Cannot praise these vets and their staff enough, so kind & caring with my little kitten Tiggy, he?s had the best care and now hopefully on the road to recovery, genuine animal loving people, highly recommend & your pet care plan is great thank you all x

Quite furious with how i was treated when i was going to adopt a little female syrian hamster. the day before i was told a story as to why she was in the adoption side of the store because she wasn't treated exactly nicely by a child and the parents taken her back because they didn't realise how much work it would take to clean her cage out and tame her and all the work that comes with owning a hamster (the hamsters name was apparently demi). Today i went back there because i wanted to give Demi a nice loving home and take her with me, i have always owned hamsters and dwarf hamsters since i was around 8 years old and i am now in my 20s, i also currently have 6 small furries 3 of them being hamsters. i asked for some assistance off a worker so i was able to get her and a new cage and all accessories for her. i was told by the only female manager at this store that i will not be able to purchase her because of these reasons: (1) i am not allowed to buy the hamster and a cage at the same time as it can cause the hamster to be stressed and chew or gnaw through the box she would of been put in to be transported back home with me while im setting up her new cage. (2) The cage i had chose and was happy with (that i was also told by an employee that works at the same store)was apparently too small according to their new policy on cage sizes/dimensions for different animals they sell. (3) i wasnt able to be sold the cage i had settled with buying because the female hamster i was buying was a rowdy and stressed hamster most of the time. (4) female syrian hamsters are supposedly meant to have bigger cages then male syrian hamsters due to them being bigger in size and more hostile.
So now there has been two different stories as to why the hamster was up for adoption one being that it was poorly treated and taken care of so was bought back and two being it wasnt a friendly hamster to others of its kind and was more aggressive. I was spoken to like i was a 5 year old that had no idea what a hamster even is?.i didnt want to tell the manager anything that would?ve caused a problem between me and her as that wasn?t what i was there for. So i asked for another employees opinion?this lady was so pleasant and very helpful, she explained the RIGHT reason as to why she was up for adoption and that was because she had a UTI and had to be seperated during her treatment and her name wasn?t even Demi it was actually Betty!! so the workers had also put the wrong ticket next to the hamster. eventually the nice worker said she will go ask the previous lady i had spoken to again if she is able to sell me Betty as i had explained i do have an old cage at home that is bigger but i wanted to get a fresh new one as i find it would be nicer for her but i would of taken her home and put her in the old cage if that would make her happy?the nice worker came back after speaking to the previous lady and told me that she will only sell me the hamster if i shown her a picture of the cage i had at home?.absolutely bonkers. i decided to not get the hamster wished them that i hope she finds a nice loving home and thanked the lady for her politeness, excellent manners and help.
will NOT be buying any animals from them again.

Really disappointed in the grooming service !! We have a long haired German Shepherd so have tried to book him in 3 months in advance. On FOUR separate occasions we have received a text/email a couple of days before the groom to say it?s been cancelled!!! There?s only one groomer, Charlotte, who is willing to groom our dog on her own, Charlotte , ( who is brilliant) not because he?s aggressive but because none of the other groomers will contemplate a large dog. I just wish they would state they only groom small dogs!! I have also attended and been COMPLETELY ignored by staff inside the grooming room, even though they can see myself and other customers waiting - awful service !

Normally excellent service and great staff at the Solihull store, however, the service we received today was lousy. We called to check if a certain fish in stock, and without staff going to visibly check, they confirmed that fish was in stock. We drove to the shop, and not surprisingly, this fish was out of stock. I told the lady we called earlier and was told was it was in stock. She did not offer an apology or nothing, she just told us that they may have some back in stock in 2 or 3 weeks, so just keep calling to check or try some other branches. Normally great service at this branch, not today thought unfortunately.
