This is not a full size store and was disappointed that the mattress range we travelled specially to see was not in there for us to try.
Parking was challenging and they charged £3.10 with the parking machine on our floor not working.
Waste of time, went elsewhere...

I had ordered an online john lewis order to pick up from Solihull. I was sent a txt to say it was ready to pick up yet when I got there they refused to give me the watch as they said was a pricing error. I had no help from the lady in store at solihull, she simply gave me a number to call and when I did it turned out I had to message on whatsapp!!! They then sent me two other messages saying it was ready to collect when clearly it wasnt. The amount of time it took me to get a refund was ridiculous, countless calls.. - they wanted me to wait upto 17 days for my money to be returned. I wasted 3-4 hours on the phone the days before Christmas trying to get my money back which I have finally done but without doubt john lewis are a shade of what they used to be and disappointingly i wont be Shopping with them for a long time as they've left me one present short the day before Christmas due to their error not mine!!!!!

Lovely people working here. The shop seems limited on space which impacts the range of products available.
The Birmingham store was significantly better, but that's been closed, thanks to the more departed boss.

Wow and double wow ? this was our first visit to John Lewis at Touchwood and we were so impressed - we had googled John Lewis was dog friendly. Everything we needed in one store and such excellent staff in all departments. We were so impressed that we were able to shop in such an impressive store with our well behaved family little dog who is in her senior years and not able to be left alone as she is a full on diabetic and has to be monitored at all times - she was in her doggy pushchair and had lots of lovely attention from all staff (and even fellow shoppers). Thank you Touchwood for a wonderful family day out inc our fur baby and for being able to purchase our Christmas pressies in person (rather than online !! ) . It was magical - John Lewis has got it right .

Everytime I go to a make up counter I find the ?ladies? are just so distant and, unhelpful . The other day I had an assistant who reluctantly put make up on my face then forgot which products they were, today I had a lady who asked me what I would like when I?m clearly there for her advice and colour matching . Is it me ?? I went to another counter where the lady just stood there and just showed me a whole load of products and then left me to it. This is a regular thing - very off putting behaviour . All I need is friendly and helpful advice . The restaurant has been serving the same type of food for years, no change no diversity in food and just unremarkable. Please do something?

I was made to feel like I should not be there and some of the staff were taking down to me when I had a inquiry,not all but some which is a shame because John Lewis used to be a Fantastic store .

John Lewis is a great store. However, their cafe is disappointing to say the least! Food was not up to standard and almost everything on the menu had 'run out' the queuing system was ridiculous. (You had to pay for each item at a different till which meant we had to wait a 3 different qeus! rather than paying for all the items at 1 till) Customers service was terrible, the staff did not know what they were doing! We asked if we could pack our sandwich to go but the waitress advised that we were not allowed to take the food out of the cafe! Absolutely atrocious! This experience has changed my views of the entire store! It's such a shame!!

Visited the cafe on 25th November 2024. Everything about the cafe is a disaster. It appears to be reeling like a rudderless ship. Unacceptable waits for a simple cup of tea, whilst numerous staff dither around ineffective and seemingly confused about simple tasks. The whole area has a look of dishevelled abandonment and the staff look unkempt. Something is going seriously wrong in this area which is a shame because the rest of the shop is lovely. After Christmas shopping, I needed a relaxing break but was faced with long queues and endless tables piled with dirty cups and saucers. If this is all John Lewis can provide for valued customers they should close the cafe to save face.

Absolutely atrocious. I really loved John Lewis but after a phone call with someone claiming they?re the manager at the customer service office and treating me like pure filth is crazy. I really cannot believe this right now. I placed an order 2 hours ago, asked to cancel but Llewellyn at John Louis customer service claiming to work at the Siteo branch which doesn?t even exist literally decided not to resolve this issue of mine. I was spoken over and was threatened to be getting cut off the phone for not apparently understanding the process. I was told after the order was dispatched within 2 hours haha. As a professional organisation like John Lewis I am absolutely in pieces. I want that person who I dealt with on the phone at 10:35am sacked. I?m sure all your calls are voice recorded so please look into this if you?re professional enough John Lewis! Claiming they?re managers but don?t have the power to satisfy their customers is appalling.

Car park is a joke. We were stuck in it for 3 hours after shopping in John Lewis. No one could get out. Asked the staff for help. They didn't care. Said the car park isn't their problem.

Shopped at John Lewis Solihull today with my husband and we had the pleasure of being served by Haps on the Clinique cosmetic counter. Haps is a credit to this store! Our John Lewis experience was just a complete touch of class, positively wrapped with a passion for customer satisfaction. Thank you so much Haps for making our day. I hope John Lewis promotes you as a role model for providing perfect customer service. ??
