The whole team went out of their way to make my visit enjoyable. The desk staff were very helpful when booking for a Dashcam to be changed. The technician went out of his way to advise me and carried out the fitting without fuss. He went through its operation and did a cracking job. And the coast was great too !

Awful service as usual from incompetent staff. I wanted to buy a product clearly marked as half price when taken to till I was advised I was wrong on the expected price, after walking the staff to the half price shelf tag I was told in a patronising manor that the product would never be that price and the staff member didn't do the tags so no idea why it's wrong. In summary, don't trust the price you see as the staff may not have actually done their job in labelling the correct price of the products they are trying to sell you. Better off going to a store that understands customer experience.

£75 MOT CHARGE - Avoid, In my view an MOT Scam has been set up here at this branch, ive been coming to this halfords for 20+ years but no more, I booked my car in for its mot and suprisingly it failed on a minor item that the last mechanic had put as an advisroy - I queeried that and halfords excuse was inplausable. I carried out the minor work myself and Halfrauds did the retest where it then passed. Unbelievably Halfords receptionist then presented me with a £20 Fee to add to the £55 i had already paiid for the MOT - leading to a whopping £75:00 charge for an mot - the additionally £20 had never been charged to me previously - and the receptinist had never mentioned it to me - it was a hidden unexpected charge - something that you would only expect from a backstreet scam garage. So they have lost a loyal customer, and all the people I recomended to halfords (some of who i have even bumped into whilst at halfords) will be informed of this dispicable practice. Halfords at the Sears Retail Park still offer the now 'old fashioned customer service'. I'm 69 and got in a mess over a dashcam changeover when I bought a new car. Amanda the deputy manager looked after me and personally got me a deal to put it all back on track and saved me money in the process.
She didn't have to, but she chose to. Would highly recommend if you want to be treated like a paying customer should be.

DO NOT schedule your any services with this garage! I have ever booked one routine service as simple as changing the oil from them, which ended up with enormous disappointment. I dropped off the car at their first time slot in early morning 8.30am, and they only showed up to advise you your collection will be ready by 4.30pm, after your serval anxious chasing calls made at around 1pm. They even blamed you didn't notice their reminder of the holding your car at premises for whole day when you book the sevice with them. Speechless! A perfect & successful disclaimer to cover up the inefficiency and disorganized management. Shame to its brand! Avoid this garage at all your cost!
