Been a regular customer of b26 restaurant in sheldon for years ,always got on well with the owner and in fact I was there on the very last day it served its last meals...the owner said to me I own the ellora in knowle please come over and give us a try...I said well it is a bit of a distance for us but we will pop over...well today 7,6,25 at 5.15 pm we gave it a try...my wife and I entered ,the place has loads of tables...there was only one couple in there sitting on a table for four...I saw a nice table I fancied it was for four people and I was told I couldn't sit there...I was offered a table for two by the bar ..I told the guy I didn't want to sit by the bar so he said its that or nothing ,apparently it was fully booked from 6 pm...so I went to the titash sheldon where I was allowed to sit on a table for four made to feel very welcome and the food was excellent...Will never set foot in the ellora again you've had your chance and you blew it ...you let the other couple sit on a table for four but refused me and my wife ,it's called double standards where I come from....
Obviously the double standard is because you let another couple sit on a table for four but you wouldn't let me...

Popular Indian as the food is great and the service efficient with excellent staff. Can be a bit loud when busy but worth it for the tasty food.

I absolutely love it here from the first time I came, I?ve been back several times now. The food is so flavourful and great quality, lots of vegetarian and vegan options too! We love the atmosphere in here and the staff are really lovely, I recommend it to everyone when coming to Knowle.

Been coming here for 20+ years and just had a wonderful curry with my Brother.
Lamb Madras and Chicken Tikka Massala with some crisp Cobra lagers. They are on form at the moment. ??

Very disappointed ?? Have enjoyed meals here over many years , but this time it was so salty it was inedible , thought it might just be a bad choice but friends went two weeks later and had the same problem , my advise sack the chef he is ruining your glowing reputation ?

Excellent service and price.
Photos are Spicy desi wrap (starter), poppadums, naga chicken, keema naan, bhajis and coconut rice.
Portions were extremely generous and, albeit very slightly oily, the keema naan was the best I have had in a long time.
There just over an hour in total, solo dining.

One of the finest Indian meals I have ever had (and I?ve had a lot) for a long time. Food and service (from Faysal) was absolutely wonderful.. First class !!!!!

From the time you walk in to the time you leave everything is absolutely perfect.
The food is really lovely and my lamb was perfectly cooked.
