We come here every Friday for our breakfast and have done for years. Would not go anywhere else in Knowle! It?s fabulous, amazing food

Had all day breakfast with wife, eggs how you like them both happy with selection and our breakfast, plenty of tea one pot for two and hot water top up if required. Dod friendly, infants play pen. Only moan was floor needed some food scraps sweeping up must have been from morning service. Looking forward to next visit.

Always helpful and delicious food, advised on ingredients suitable for my Sulphites intolerance and adapted menu to suit. All freshly prepared. Definitely worth booking for a lunchtime to ensure you get a table.

popped in for a breakfast sandwich Sausages were awful bacon not cooked well egg was ok but for £8.35 I'd expect gourmet food roadside cafes rate higher

So so disappointed as yet again we came here to enjoy a lunch and as soon as we walk in the door the lady straight away tells us there are no tables available for us? She clearly doesn?t like us for some reason because it?s happened the last three times! There were empty tables and people were also finishing up and leaving so we really don?t understand why every single time this lady is working here she always refuses us a table? We have come at different times and she still won?t let us dine here. After the first time we kind of thought ok it?s fine they must be expecting other customers but after the third or fourth time I clearly don?t believe it. Weve also witnessed this particular lady turn away other customers when we?ve been dining here when clearly there are empty tables and no one has occupied them. We used to love it here but we definitely wont return unfortunately because it?s very disheartening to be turned away before youve even got through the door. Other staff have always been very polite and friendly but this lady just makes it very clear we are not welcome.

Food is first class and only the best ingredients are used which does make it a bit pricey for a breakfast.

Great little café, well staffed and a good variety of foods and drink. We went as a big group and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and to serve our food together. Would definitely come here again.

This really is the most loveliest little place to enjoy coffee and breakfast. Every time I?ve popped in here Hayley is always so welcoming and friendly. The coffee is perfect and the food is definitely the best around. The Chef is brilliant and it?s a real treat to spend an hour or so here. A really beautiful place to go. My favourite by far!

Loved the vibe of this cafe, the food was excellent too. They've got houseplants and cacti, plus cards and art for sale. We had pancakes and smashed avocado on toast with poached eggs, and both dishes were tasty and good value. The only low point was the food took a while to come out, but they'd just had a food delivery so were quite busy.
Overall, a great place for brunch right on knowle high street. We'll be visiting again.

Went to Elderberry Blacks this morning for a breakfast with my wife and son.
Food and service was fantastic.
Even though it was busy the service staff were attentive and proficient.
The food was amazing and reasonably priced.
The restaurant was clean and well run.
We will definitely be returning.
