I went to Costa today with my friend and our young kids. The staff was racist. My friend placed an order and sat at the back where there was space for her young kids. I was choosing my stuff and waited in the queue and her order was ready they expected her to come and collect her own order which she did struggling and myself I had my clingy toddler. I placed my order and I don't wear a headscarf and went sat next to her and my food was served on the table for me whilst she had to collect it because she had a headscarf on. Absolutely disgusting behaviour even in 2025 and people not moving past it. Jarring

This is my first time sipping a Costa coffee at a cafe back in 2021. That time in Malaysia just has a Costa coffee machine at petrol pumps which is the taste was not very nice. But was different taste when I sip the coffee at Costa Coffee Cafe..

No aircon, card machine down, so no Costa points either. Sun shade not working and prices gone up.

Visited the store today 08/08/24 for the first and last time. The store was quiet and I was served by a friendly lady behind the bar, but that is where the positives end. I ordered a coffee and a blueberry muffin. The coffee was fine, but just your average coffee shop coffee, the muffin however was a spur of the moment choice as I was informed they were having some sort of issue with the cakes so there were none on display. The lady did inform me they had others available but as there was a queue forming I didn?t want to hold her up longer than necessary as she was the only person serving. Unfortunately it was not to my taste so I ended up leaving most of it.
What has really put me off however was the attitude of other staff members within the store. A male staff member who appeared to be the manager started taking to the other workers about someone who I can only assume is another member of staff. I won?t repeat on here what he was saying, however I find it highly inappropriate and unprofessional for staff issues to be discussed in front of customers.
I could see it was making some of the staff uncomfortable and it just brought the whole mood of the shop down.

Great service no wait friendly staff coffee and lemon muffin up to the usual standard this costa is slightly better than some quite relaxed atmosphere shame about the views but it's over the car park no sea view in Birmingham

First time visiting this branch , as I walked I was met with empty chairs and uncollected trays and cups making me want to walk straight out . As I had a guest with me , I was inclined to stay and wait.Only one member of staff behind counter looking a bit overwhelmed and after being served I was forced to clear my own table in order to sit down with my tray .I can only assume the other staff were on break , shall not be going back anytime soon .
