Quite bleak decor.. Black glitter marble and red features. But clean and tidy. The seats are very comfortable. Great screen. Picture clear. Sounds are a bit loud. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great place to see a movie.

IT'S A REALLY GREAT CINEMA IN EVERY WAY. THEY SHOWED 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY WHICH WAS MADE FOR THE BIG SCREEN - AS IT ENHANCES THE GREATNESS OF THIS MASTERPIECE!

Update March'23 Cut backs applied, concession stalls closed downstairs Monday to Thursday. No loss!Update Dec'23 Similar complaint ... Too many phone users and noisy food / packaging. Does no one go to watch the film anymore??Update July'23, Same again, plus adding to the hassle, idiots managed to sit in my booked seats, despite the screen being almost empty!Update: Feb'22. Current lack of films (not entirely Cineworld's fault, but their timings could be better). Still too many phone screens causing distraction / nuisance; something must be done to avoid unpleasant confrontations. Update Oct'22: Same except new twist is that the code scanner needs the mobile to be lit up like Wembley Stadium! PS, beware that they don't show everything you would expect. Update: May'22. No technical hitches recently, but otherwise everything else the same. Update: March'22. Still same poor website and dreadful app, but a few more staff inside. Finding new ways to spoil a film, eg, leaving subtitles where they shouldn't be, on top of the usual noisy, feeding, chatting, phone flashing audience behaviour.Previously, Dec'17, refurb complete but still software glitches and insufficient staff to service customers quickly. Previously: Absolute shambles! Major construction underway, in school holidays, AND ticketing systems in chaos.

It's difficult to know which element is the worst and most frustrating. As you walk in, there are 6 or so screens to the left with which to book or collect tickets. On the right, a section for humans to serve food. Upstairs are the screens and a further kiosk where humans serve food and tickets.Upon walking in this evening, 4 of the screens were out of order. Of the remaining screens, neither were able to scan a qr code for a voucher due to the awkwardly placed scanning screen. It wasn't possible to type the code due to the imminent start time (commence anxiety). We turned around and headed to the ground floor kiosk. Behold. This section of the cinema is unstaffed on particular evenings (cue more anxiety)We headed Upstairs and found the first floor kiosk staffed by two very young staff. There wasn't a huge queue, so we were hopeful that we would make the start of the film. The minutes dragged by as we watched the youngsters struggle with the most basic of orders. Queueing became a painful experience. I was both fascinated and deeply concerned to observe one of the team making a cup of tea; going through each step took all of their concentration and efforts (and several minutes). The last person in front of us in the queue ordered a smoothie. We watched as the server took their time over each and every step. After another 5 minutes, a colleague was alerted to support with the pouring of the drink into a glass. We opted to leave at this point so I could put myself on the outside of many units of alcohol and end the misery. My issue isn't the unskilled staff. We've all got to start somewhere. My issue is at the insufficient resources provided. There should have been more staff and working equipment. That said. When I started to write this review I was deeply angry. Now I am half way through my first glass of wine and somewhat mollified, if anything celebrating the fact that I was born in a decade that resulted in me being an exceptionally capable human by today's standards, by the time I was 12.And I suppose it's not their fault anyway is it. What chance have they got being born post 2005? And how Cineworld make any money is beyond me anyway. At least these kids are in gainful employment and trying. Also I like wine and now I've got to have more of it.

My kids really like this cinema. It?s got a nice ambiance about it and is in a good location. It?s reasonably clean and there is good choice of food with reasonable prices.

Seating is okay. Screen was okay. Expensive to see a film, but more expensive to eat or drink from here. Average at best ?

Escalators to the venue not working. Not your fault though. Cinema 3 good. Saw Bob Marley film. Let's just say not a blockbuster. The worst thing about the night , the worst Nachos and Cheese sauce we have ever tasted at a cinema, and we've been to a few over the years, wether it was preservative in sauce not nice and expensive.

Could do a better job at removing people causing disturbances in screenings but a decent place to watch a film with friends
