Honestly this store has one of the rudest members of staff I've encountered. Not just with customers but her fellow colleagues also. I'm glad I came on here as I can see I'm not alone in experiencing this shoddy rude customer service. Multiple times I've been served by one girl that has been previously mentioned on here, "Amy" and had a very poor, dissatisfiying experience. I feel sorry for the poor girl (I didn't see her name) working with her today. She didn't deserve that attitude at all.

Shockingly disgusting customer service! I had visited the Shirley branch this morning to pick up some helium balloons and cards, when paying for my things the employee behind the till (Amy) was very abrupt, rude and very short with me. This annoyed me however, I decided to ignore this. Whilst waiting, for my helium balloons to be blown up for me, I heard Amy verbally abuse/swear at a customer to her colleague, she made no attempt to at least lower her voice. Her colleague laughed about this and continued to blow up my helium balloons.
Amy then decided to continue and complain about the customer in front of other customers, this annoyed me further and I told her it was not professional to swear at a customer on their way out of the shop behind their back, Amy decided to reply and say ?I didn?t swear at her, to her face.? I replied ?the fact that you are swearing at a customer in front of another customer is absolutely appalling and unprofessional?, God knows what she said about me as soon as I left the shop!
I have reported this via the customer service number and I have been told this incident will be investigated and dealt with at head office. Due to this awful experience I have had to leave a very negative review. Hopefully, my next visit will allow me to leave a positive review.

The most rude lady at counter. I will go back and get her name and make a formal complaint. She has no customer service skills. If you are not prepared to be pleasant to customers find another job.

Rude member of staff! The lady who served me had no idea of what customer services means! Ruined my day in my birthday, for sure that will be my last visit to this store. I will prefer to go to Acocks Green branch, where everyone is nice and always with a smile.

Great selection of Christmas and birthday cards, prices I would say very good was very pleased, staff were cheerful and polite, only gave four stars because it was cash only! Think that was a bit petty on my part you can't do anything when there's a blip in the system..

Excellent staff?. I visited the store 4 times in one day because my balloons kept popping? i spoke to 4 different members of staff over my visits who were all really friendly, helpful and couldn?t do enough to correct my situation. The staff make this store an excellent place to shop.

The store attendant was so rude. It was close to their closing time. I was already inside the store looking for some helium balloons for my son?s birthday when she started talking to me rudely that I have to leave immediately or they gonna close the till without serving me and she refused to pump up the balloon for me without giving any warning that they are about to close and I?ll have to finish my purchase.It was a terrible customer experience and ruined our birthday party.

Decent selection but no helium! Had to take my balloons into alternative store to get them blown up. Also didn't explain the charges for inflation and the wait times for certain balloons.
