I have had a previous hairdresser for 20 years until she closed up, after that it was a mission to find a good hairdresser. I paid one place a lot of money to have my hair ruined, Capellis was recommended by a friend, my first appointment Lily treated my hair and cut it beautifully. Katy has been working on my hair for the past six months taking out all red purple and ginger tones to give me beautiful ash grey hair. Everything I have asked for Katy has done whilst maintaining the health of my hair. I would not got to anyone else for my hair. I love the professional and friendly environment. Been coming for years but they only know really basic cuts. Recently I asked for something different and they do NOT listen! I had a bad experience, felt ignored but thought it was a one-off. I went again yesterday and I explained clearly I wanted a trim to restyle my layers to bluntly cut, no feathering. I even showed pics.When she showed me my hair and asked 'is this off enough ok?', it was barely an inch and I'd said yeah that's great.After I was surprised when she finished how short my hair was - about 6 inches gone! She said it looked like that because she'd curled it, and she'd curled it v. nicely so I thought sure, OK. Today I realise she's cut off all my hair so it's one length and a shoulder bob... because she's cut everything from my shortest layer! I wanted blunt layers, not removing all layers and having 6inches taken off!This is twice I've gone to this hairdressers and asked for straight cut layers. First time they did nothing, just ignored my request. Second time I tried harder to explain and instead they cut all my hair off!I know Capellis is affordable and a good location but I will definitely not be coming back again.
