The old lady is very stuck-up and patronising. How can someone working in a ?charity shop? so arrogant. I bet if you bring free stuff then she will treat you kindly. What a terrible charity shop apart from overly expensive, staff is is effin rude! Cheer up lady and become less miserable?!

Can't say I love shopping, but I was dragged into the store by my wife whilst on vacation. Nice selection of clothing for men. Most assistants were women folk, but there was one guy who helped me with two Italian suits, Canali and the other Zegna to take back to California. The sales guy was not just a pretty face and suggested I take the lighter cloth Zegna and paid roughly equivalent of 80 dollars.

This shop takes the cake on the best in preloved shopping.Just bought myself a lovely Harris Tweed jacket, as seen in the latest edition of British Vogue. The Manager is fun and very knowledgeable on fashion. For a preloved charity store they have a very creative, curated style- the visuals are great. Very friendly store volunteers- modern and diverse. Great shopping experience.

Went in to see if they sold any crochet hooks but was told by the middle aged man that they don?t sell it for health and safety reasons as you can hurt someone with it?I guess the books shouldn?t be sold either as paper cuts can be lethal.

Incredibly rude staff, went in with my girlfriend for about a minute, saw a kids piano toy on the ground and decided to test it out. Tried to play a tune but some of the keys weren't working, especially not at the same time as others being played, this is fine, to be expected from something someone gave to a charity shop for free, however when I looked at the price I was shocked (£10 which had already been reduced twice as people weren't buying it). Now given that my usual experience of charity shops has been in Mansfield, and this is Solihull, a vastly posher area, I wasn't too surprised but I decided to privately and quietly say to my girlfriend that in my hometown you'd pay about 50 pence for something of that quality, a fair and factual statement (again not to mention quiet and private). The shopkeeper, who either thought my comment was the emotional equivalent of me grabbing the piano and slapping her around the face with it (am assuming she set the prices) or was looking for any opportunity to show off some quite exceptional hearing no matter how appropriate. Scolded me out with a "if you're not happy with the price, why are you playing with it then? Very disrespectful actually". Very strange that someone in retail has never heard of "try before you buy" which is especially prevalent in the charity shop trade as customers need to make sure second hand items properly work before they buy them. In future I would recommend to this worker that she detach herself a little from the shops items, understands their prices and not act as if she's the CEO of cancer research UK and take less offence to comments that i'm sure are made by shoppers all the time in many shops. Ever been to Primark and wondered why a shirt that usually sells a shirt for 2 pounds is retailing the same quality shirt at 8? Would you not comment this to someone? Or would you keep it to yourself as to not offend any possible 16 year old minimum wage workers who could be walking by at that moment? I promise you they're not the corporate overlords of Primark and don't care, and neither should you. Although if your reasoning for selling a toy piano at a 2000% markup is to give the researchers more money to cure cancer, then I commend you, although these charities don't really put as much money into the actual problems they say they're trying to solve as you would think.Love from Chris

The shop from the outside is very appealing. The layout of the shop is very spacious so you can easily push a pushchair around the shop. It is a very child friendly shop, there are no trip hazzards. Volunteer's really care about their shop and charity because the shop is clean and inviting, the hand sanitiser's are positioned at front entrance and by till area. There is a divider by the till and social distancing clearly sign posted and the stock rotation is good because I have been in there and it clearly changes all the time. The shop is clean and inviting and display's are vibrant and items are easy to find, well thought out layout, pricing structure is excellent. Keep up the good work.

A premium charity shop with a lovely team of hard-working volunteers. It's worth remembering that Cancer Research UK shops exist to make as much money as possible to fund scientists trying to find a cure for cancer - it's not a service to provide cheap clothing. Having said that, I have picked up many good bargains from here such as unworn/hardly worn great quality clothes.

This is another charity shop that I try to donate to as often as I can, and I also try to have a look around for some books to buy when I am near by and in need of something to read. They have a wide range of products and the money spent in the shops goes to cancer research, I find this a great way of helping a cause which is important to me.
