We have been shopping at this One Stop store ever since we moved to the area, and nothing like this has ever happened before. Today, I went to the shop with my 2-year-old daughter, who enjoys coming here to pick out sweets.
When we reached the checkout, the cashier, a young man, spoke in such a low voice that we could barely understand him. He asked something about a ?card? ? we thought he meant an ID card. After asking him to repeat the question several times, he finally said that we had to show him our bank card. When I asked why he needed to see our card before scanning the products, he replied that it was a ?simple question? and that I should just answer. I explained that his request did not make sense. My husband eventually showed him the bank card, and only then did he scan our items.
While he was serving us, I overheard the other cashier telling a customer that Apple Pay was not working and asking if they had a physical card. It would have been courteous if our cashier had explained the same to us, instead of making us feel uncomfortable and embarrassed.
After we paid, I told the cashier that his behaviour was rude. In response, he mocked me by moving his lips silently, most likely using offensive words.
I am very disappointed with such treatment. We will try to minimise our visits to this store in the future.

Always short on orders via app. Even when you get stuff they claim to have put in the purchase, it ain't there! Very, very poor service!

Its a great help to the community and has almost everything you might need in the household however there has been a lot of crime as I have witnessed 2 myself one with a child running with a whole box of chocolates and another with 2 men putting wine in their bags however recently an improvement in security has been noticed with more cameras all together to this is a nice shop with kind workers

Staff are not very friendly and helpful if you ask them to check if they got more stock in the back they say not due in tomorrow. Worst One Stop I have been to.
