Looks like Im not the only one to state the obvious but BHF is incredibly overpriced. You can get things cheaper on ebay!

Unfortunately the customer service was rubbish. I went to drop off book to donate and the lady was quite rude and unhelpful. She didnt even say hello and I didn't even get a thanks for donating, considering I've donated to British heart foundation for years. A little thanks would have been nice. On top of that, the lady seemed nice to other customers but not me, I cant help but think its becuase of my colour. Definitely won't be donating to this charity shop again. Though it's for a good cause, the service needs improving as I'm now put off donating to this charity in future.

Absolutely gob smacked. Went in here today for a little browse and the pricing is astronomical. I understand they want to do the best by the charity but some of the price's I saw today were borderline offensive. I don't understand how you can charge £50 for something that can be purchased for £30 from an outlet. I don't normally do this and leave reviews but they have a shop full of overpriced items and are turning away donations. I've given it 2 stars because the shop is actually well set out.

You can fine gems occasionally but the prices have soared since the lockdown and it isn't like buying in a charity shop anymore.

Small shop with a limited range of used goods. The most interesting were the books.

Not the best charity shop in bearwood but well laid out store, a little more expensive than your average charity shop.

I went to British Heart Foundation to have a look for a furniture and I was shocked when I saw prices. It's so expensive!!! 2 door wardrobe £100 - £180, used double bed £100 and really poor matress £50... small bedside table in really bad condition £25 when next door furniture shop selling NEW much cheaper furniture. This is suppose to be charity shop where people could get not expensive furniture and also in same time donate for good cause but in this case it looks like someone trying to make some business from this charity. Very dissapointed.

I'm not usually a fan of the British Heart Foundation. That sounds terrible doesn't it? Let me rephrase: In terms of charity shops from the point of view of someone without a lot of money and a big appetite for music and books to fill; The shops run by the excellent British Heart Foundation charity don't usually do it for me. Purely because they are comparatively quite expensive to others. HOWEVER, the one on Bearwood Road is really rather good. I've picked up a lot of good stock from there which hasn't been overpriced. I think it's my timing but I always seem to get caught in a queue at the till behind someone who wants to look at and umm and aah over every single piece of jewellery kept in the glass-case counter. But complaining about queues in a charity shop seems like the pettiest thing in the world so let's focus on the good points: Clean, tidy, well-stocked, I walked out with a pile of rare funk compilations for £15 not so long back.
