I had a really lovely experience buying furniture here. Michael was especially helpful ? very attentive, kind, and patient, making sure I found exactly what I needed. Thanks to him, the whole process felt easy and enjoyable.

I went to this branch with my daughter this morning, purchased one metal bench £129, another mosaic
Metal bench &139 and a mosaic coffee table with two chairs £159 total goods £417.
I brought the chairs in the car with me and asked the manager Becky that my husband will pick it later today and she agreed to it.
When my husband collected the chair and tables, the mosaic table top pattern broke as soon as he tilted it in the car. He took it back to the shop but they refused to take it back and forced my husband to take it home and glue the pattern back.
I made him go back to return the goods but not only Becky refused, but also lied blatantly to my husband that she had offered me the goods boxed. When i confronted her on video call she lied to my face that Jamie had offered it to you but you refused. Whereas this person Jamie was stood behind Becky at the counter and I never held a conversation with him. We asked for refund due to faulty goods but they pushed my husband out of the shop and said she is the manager its her will and she will not return it. She said she doesn?t care to be reported on a review or to head office or customer services and isnt bothered about social media platforms
It is my consumer right to return faulty item which broke on minimal handling right outside the shop, whereas it wasnt even glass.
Even the bench mosaic pattern is cracked which is clearly visible in the photos that i took in the shop, but I noticed it after this incidence.
I will continue to ask for refund of my £159 since its a matter of principle and not about money as i spent over £400 in the charity shop. Above all the manager had the audacity to lie blatantly behind my back and is extremely rude with poor customer communication mannerism. Never returning to give charity to Brisitsh heart foundation again ever in my life and totally prepared to go to small claims court and ombudsman if my right of refund isnt offered. There is no photo option but i am posting it on twitter now for evidence

Rude, Arrogant and I shall never donate to this Particular store again.. ringing my phone at 7.35am to tell me they're collecting my donation ( Saturday morning) the two Asian men were obnoxious arrogant and rude

Went here 3rd October and brought 2 chest of drawers and paid £25 for delivery for next day its now 18.25 and no delivery did phone the shop at 16.24 and was told it still would be delivered was even told they would ring me back letting me know what time they delivery to no call back

I've visited this store a few times and they tend to have nice furniture items. I've purchased a few items from here, and the staff in the shop were really friendly and helpful.They delivered the items within two days, and the delivery staff were polite and handled the items with care.

This is the second time I have had furniture rejected by the driver.Only for other charities to accept. I had a lovey 1950's solid wood shappy chic dresser with mirror refused by the driver because it was painted. When ringing to see if they wanted it & arrange collection the volunteers should have a list by the phone of what is excepted or what is not. This question should have been asked along with any other reasons the driver is likely not to take it. A sofa was refused prior to this, it had a fire label, we said the arms were a bit worn, but with a cover it was in good condition. They said they wanted it, only for the driver to say they wouldnt take it. I will not be donating to bhf again and will tell others that other charities are more reliable and do not waste your time.

The delivery men are very rude and in a rush.I was promised by the shop that they would definitely move my old chair outside,but when they arrived they didn't try and didn't want to take 5 minutes to do as the store promised.I would have given them a tip for doing so.They might be overworked,but a promise by the store means a lot.now I won't use them or recommend them,being as they lied.
