We have been into this outlet of Timpsons several times in the last few weeks for various issues with car keys for our family cars. The courtesy, advice and service is always brilliant. Twice the guys there could have easily pushed us into having full key replacements but went out of their way to do the repairs at the best price for us. This honest sort of approach is so rare these days and was really appreciated - highly recommended!

I went to sort out my car key because my mom accidentally left them in a microwave! When I went I went to timpsons they was nice to my face, however after I left to go and talk to my mom about the prices of the car keys. My sister heard the manager say to his trainee ?do not turn your back on them? I am a black women to say this is very hurtful as I have never stolen anything in my life and to be stereotyped it?s absolutely disgusting. He then proceeded to tell me he needed my moms car to change the battery in her spare key, which he did not need! To confirm this, the next day I called up timpsons to ask if this was true they told me no. The manager also told me I needed to call the AA because he could not do my key without my car. So I then went home upset called the RAC and they got me a locksmith, the lovely locksmith showed me inside my car key is a manual key! I had to pay £252 for a spare key the rac locksmith gave me because my actually microwave key still works. Timpsons is absolutely disgusting especially the manager, with inflation life is already hard to have someone who refused to help and lied which then ended with me having to pay a big bill for no reason, he just thought me and my sister has stolen cars so he needed proof.

Went there today to sort a none working car fob out great service guy working there is a credit to company so helpful and polite will use again well done timpsons don't give many good reviews but this one's well deserved

Had six keys cut this morning. Fantastic job all the keys worked first time. Very reasonable price for six. The person who served me was well mannered and polite. One happy customer thank you.

Been let down by Timpson (Shirley, Solihull).Paid for 2 lifetime guarantee batteries for my Mum's 2 watches back in 2020. 1 watch stopped so naturally took her back to Timpson for a replacement.Unfortunately, she lost the card/receipt for this watch but you'd think they'd have it on their systems.The 2 guys were very dismissive and couldn't be bothered to check their systems even when we told them that we replaced both batteries on the same day and we even had the other card/receipt.They give you a small hand-written card for lifetime guarantee batteries - hence won't be surprised may loose them or the hand written notes become so faded that they become unreadable.Timpson need to do better - I'd strongly recommend that you ask them to provide you more than just a hand-written card and as a min log it in their systems for record; and help customers.

Great staff and very friendly and helpful. Dropping stars because the prices are extortion. Keys can be cut for £1 but Timpson charges £4! I needed six keys cut and the difference adds up!
