Spacious. The space between tables is big enough.
Big windows, good view to look outside.
The suggestion for them is : try to have enough manpower during busy period. Very often, rubbish is on the floor, tables are unclean, plates , mugs .....are left to be collected. ^______*

Despite its large size the Pump House is often busy and finding a table can be difficult. I ended up in the middle of the pub, crammed among other patrons with no sense of relaxation or privacy.
I ordered gourmet steak, rare, but it was effectively medium. I requested two fried eggs and received three (thanks!). I will make a point of avoiding peak times when I return.
Parking: The pub seems to lack atmosphere, the space is voluminous and dispersive. Toilets are a long flight of stairs away.
Nice smoking area at the front on the pavement with some rain protection.

Was busy for a Wednesday lunchtime, drink service was promt, ordered food, was spot on, no delays given how busy the place was. Excellent as always!

As with all Wetherspoon pubs you get what you get. The evening is about who you're with not necessarily the atmosphere on a Tuesday evening. Food was cheap and cheerful although it could have been warmer and the tea limitless. Can't complain

Poped in before being dragged around furniture shop. Light and airy, with welcoming log fire. Had large breakfast. Bar staff very cheerful.

I come here every few weeks to meet a friend. The drinks are cheap and the food is good. Its always a relaxed atmosphere too.

Good drinks at a good price but let down by the food. We had a jacket potato that was surprisingly small with meagre toppings. The pizza was not up to the usual Wetherspoon standards either, again very mean on the toppings.

Great location, value for money, stay as long as you like is rather encouraged, without any waiter hassling you to order more or clear your table for others.

Lively pub, always busy. Very friendly staff and straight forward but expansive menu. Disappointed there is only one veggie options on Curry Club night. Would go more often if there were more choices. Good prices beer, real ales and wine. Toilets could do with being checked more at busy times and there are often long queues at the bar. Top tip. Get the App and order from your table.
