Really hate the self service pay machines. They are confusing to use and there are always queues because people are struggling. Staff are never on hand to assist in a timely way. I much prefer to be served by coffee at a counter by a real person. Its also difficult to see what cakes etc are available as you need to go to a separate counter. All together not a pleasant experience.
When you eventually manage to place an order, the coffee and scones are very nice, hence 2 stars, rather than zero.

It?s nice but confusing to shop, more like a big supermarket. Kids on check out , no hi how are you, the mature ladies used to be friendly. Seems less selection on food for the vast size. Should of kept the small one too in Solihull, especially for the older people. But I did prefer it . Hope you think about it marks to open it back up or even food area. Cafe is terrible and please remove the seed oils from your foods

Fabulous store with amazing Food section. The best I have encountered in a Marks and Sparks. The Cafe experience was not great however. You order from a screen. The first one didn't work. I then waited 10 mins for a cup of coffee. I approached the barrister to enquire when she would reach my order but as I did so I spotted my flat white on a tray amongst others awaiting a waitress. It had been there a while. There were a number of staff most of whom seemed to busying themselves with non productive tasks. Only one taking trays to tables. I might give then one more try but this method of ordering seems like a massive step backwards.

Marks & Spencer at Sears is a great store with a wide selection of quality food, clothing, and home essentials. The layout is easy to navigate, and everything feels clean and well-organised. Staff are helpful and approachable, always ready to assist with a smile.
The food hall is especially impressive, with plenty of fresh options and some great ready-made meals. Overall, a really pleasant shopping experience every time I visit.
?? Be careful with parking ? the left car park allows 3 hours free parking, but the right side (outside Lidl) only allows 2 hours, and the fine is £100 if you go over.

Went to the Cafe with my partner yesterday. Food and coffee were great, however, Carmen ruined the experience for us. We were trying to ask for a cup to take our iced drink to go, and she ?shooed? my partner away with her hands without even looking at him. When I tried to speak to her to say how rude that was, she proceeded to turn and walk away from me. We were then helped by a lovely lady but my partner was very embarrassed. It was his first time going to the Cafe after rave reviews from myself. So disappointed.

Nice food selection available but charging 40p for a paper carrier bag which splits and tears even before getting out of the store is corporate greed at its finest ?

There's a wide variety or clothes, more women's than men's. I believe the prices are slightly higher than I would like to spend. However the biggest let down is the cafe, I've had 2 experiences in the cafe one resulting in food prising back at Christmas which they took no responsibility for, this had a big negative impact for me on their customer service.

Always enjoy Mark's & Spencers food hall. Though I wish they would get the hand held scanning facility working again

Parking extremely busy and lots of tales of enforcement errors may put people off.

This is a great retail store that is well laid out and has womens, children's, men's and homeware sections. There's a cafe on the second floor which is a firm favourite. The staff are always very efficient and friendly. As well as the clothing section, the food hall is definitely worth visiting.
