Just had a breakfast with my mom here at the Village Kitchen and it was brilliant. I had a medium breakfast and it was fantastic, delicious ingredients, well cooked and served by lovely hardworking staff. The 2 girls serving were rushed off their feet and myself and my mom appreciated their hard work.

This is a lush little cafe. Very nice and funny staff. Great food, great price and very clean! Gonna make regular visits. It's a down to earth cafe. Not enough of these about.

Poor presentation of food on plate missing items and my scrambled egg was not what I expected very lumpy and had no taste seems to have been cooked in microwave and not mixed properly i have had better i had cold beans needs more work on keeping all items of food hot for the customer to eat over all this can be improved so will not return again this is a shame as I checked out other reviews that says it's good but I think not what a shame

Food is amazing lovely and friendly staff I ordered of just eat and just eat didn't bring all my items and a lovely lady from this place went out of her way to bring me my stuff when really she didn't have to because it was just eats problem thankyou for being so kind and understanding

Twice I?ve been here since new people are working there ordered breakfast and both times everyone else got their food while sitting there waiting for 45 mins to have to say leave it as they forgot about doing my food don?t recommend

Called in on Sunday late morning. Me and my son had a medium breakfast.
The general look of the cafe was pleasant and felt welcoming. Upon being served, the view dirextly to the kitchen / cooking area was a little off-putting. Food arrived, it was quite greasy, bacon was nice but sossage was not.
They served Sunday roasts to order, which I thought was nice.

Avoid!! Order a bacon egg and mushroom and sandwich and the egg was disgusting and cremated

I would not recommend this place at all my full English breakfast was well below par, it was greasy on a cold plate. The cappuccino was out of a catering tin of nescafe, which I could have has at home, I can't see this place staying in business for long!
