My room was 29°c all night. I could not sleep. I actually went for a sleep in the car at 4am.

Really hot in corridor and room and thermometer in room stayed at 28/9 degrees all night. Needs air-conditioning.
Booked breakfast for 9:30 and when we got there we were asked to wait. Plenty of tables in waiting area and dirty plate showed that someone had eaten there previously! At 10 a relative who was already seated advised us they had been told they had a hour plus wait for food. Staff confirmed there was a wait and so we cancelled and asked for a refund and went to Morrisons cafe - which was good.
The girl who served us was really trying to help so a big well done to her, but she was apparently only a Housekeeper who had been drafted in at the last minute! They obviously have staffing and management issues.
We now have to make sure we get a refund - but although promised, expect problems in view of the obviously poor organisation.

DON'T STAY HERE. If I could rate it zero stars I would. There is no air conditioning and our room was 30 degrees all night. Windows dont open enough to let any air flow through. Unless you like sleeping in a sauna, don't book this hotel.

It?s currently 20 degrees outside and the room temperature is 29, it is completely unbearable. Hotel staff say working there is extremely difficult when room temperatures are like that.
You will have a terrible nights sleep
Breakfast is decent

Well where do I start, this hotel doesn't have air conditioning, which I understand and fans were provided, however the sockets by the bed have been replaced with USB ports so good luck using a fan to keep you cool while you sleep. (27.5c at night is not nice.)
Went for breakfast, didn't have all of the vegan options (sausages, or sunflower spread), it took 40minutes to get are food, at while point they said the kitchen wasn't working properly and everything was being grilled. (Would have been nice to have been told this before we paid). We asked for another plate of food each at 9:45, we were told they would need to check with the kitchen if they were ok to make it. (Considering unlimited breakfast is until 10:30 on a week day) The second serving came out and was less than half wht we originally ordered. When I went to get toast, 4 plates were dirty, I put these to the side, which the hostess placed back on the clean pile.
Toilets in the restaurant were disgusting, dried urine over the floor, disgusting countertops that hadnt been cleaned, same with the toilets.
Cigarette bin outside the hotel was broken with days worth's of cigarette ends dumped in a corner, from staff and patrons.
Worst Premier Inn I have ever stayed in, avoid at all costs, worth spending extra to go to another one.
Positives - Mega Bowl, Cinema and large Morrisons with a cafe.

Good choice for an overnight to visit local attractions. Comfortable bed, good breakfast, quiet room. Dinner ok, and the meal deal made it excellent value.

Though the website clearly states no air-conditioning, we were not expecting that the inside temperature was hotter than outside during the morning and evening...
Bathroom had the previous guests hair over the tiles in the bathroom.
Bed is comfy
I've stayed at Premier Inns before but I wish I read the reviews about the heat before booking...never assume one is as good as another location.
Wi-Fi is not great...better off using mobile data

Stayed for a night prior to a trip to Cadburys World. Similar to others - the in room duckling hunt was amazing and my daughter loved it. The lady on reception was absolutely lovely - I'm sorry I don't know her name but we saw her Monday 2nd June in the evening. Thanks for brilliant and much appreciated extra touches.

The room was very hot, although the weather outside was about 20°C.
Other than that, the room was OK

Stayed for one night 14.05.25-15.05.25 and it was lovely. The bed was really comfy, the bedroom and bathroom were very clean, the staff were very friendly, particularly the cleaning lady and Becky the receptionist. It?s a nice change to see staff being so helpful and smiley and not making you feel burdensome which can be difficult because hospitality is often time a demanding job with little reward or thanks. Will definitely be staying again. Thank you.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Rooms decent. Only downfall was the free WiFi was practically useless, no 5G signal so was forced to pay £10 for 2 days WiFi
