Love this place.... especially in summer when you can sit outside next to the canal. The staff are lovely and the food is good. The recent refurbishment has made a difference - it's my favourite place at the moment ?

Went for Sunday dinner today and it was like world war 2 rations. Not exaggerating Had one slice of Turkey with my dinner when the people next to us had a lot more. When complaining they said they base it off the weight which means you could get a big portion of veg and hardly any meat! Carrots were like chewing on a stick of rock from Blackpool I need a new set of railings now. Been there before and it?s normally great but standards dropped massively today.

If you?re on the hunt for a perfect Sunday roast, look no further. We visited last Sunday and were genuinely blown away - everything from the service to the plate was spot on.
The atmosphere was relaxed, ideal for a catch up with friendly and friends.

Nearly turned back due to the road closure but it is accessible!
Usual menu wasn't available as they were doing a BBQ which worked out fine.

Had an absolutely brilliant time here recently! The atmosphere was spot on, and the food was delicious. But what really made the visit special was our server, Sophie! She was incredibly attentive, always had a smile, and made our visit so worthwhile! The excellent service truly enhanced our experience. Would highly recommend a visit!
