friendly staff good food a realy nice place to visit for lunch

Not a single real ale on tap and hasn?t been for a while. No craft ales either (used to have neck oil but that?s stopped too) no bottle options as the fridges are just full of ciders. Just 6 bland mass produced lagers couple of ciders, Guiness and Marston?s smooth. it?s 2025 not 2005. Prices are extortionate too compared to other pubs in Pelsall.
They no longer serve food outside. Signs everywhere saying they will be stop serving food at early because of a larger party. That large party seemingly only 12 people a few other reserved table in an otherwise empty pub. Wouldn?t even take an order for a small kids meal.
Menu never changes, same as all the other marson pubs.

Long queue to get served, menu items (fish) not available and awful beers. Usual Marstons low standards. without the constant 30% off mains offer no reason to visit.

Food is great caters to special requests (within reason). Decent pint and welcoming atmosphere. Good place to go for a pint after work or to go out for meal.

No stars, it was awful, service non existent, my scampi inedible, the latte just dark brown liquid in a chipped cup. I will never go there again.

it?s a lovely pub Great food & Alan the Gaffer is very welcoming & so are the bar staff i wud recommend this pub to everyone plus families r more than welcome as well
