With a group of family and friends, we visited this bar recently as part of my son's 18th birthday local pub crawl celebration. It was by far the most friendly and welcoming venue we visited and the beer was excellent. Sarah went above and beyond to celebrate my son's birthday with him and ensure he, and we felt very welcome to return. A fantastic hidden gem in Knowle. Thank you Sarah!

Always find the beer on tap is pretty naff, usually sour and a bit flat. The warmed up pork snack tastes very stale, just stick to bagged up quality Pork Scratchings please. The selection of ales was pretty mainstream and limited for an ?Ale Bar?.

Hadn't been here for over 30 years, I'm a guiness drinker but they were having issues with it. That said the lager was nice..!

No beer zero, they had to go downstairs to check stock and get wine and beer was luke warm; not very welcoming atmosphere didn't stay long

Great pub. I used it a lot when a friend had a narrowboat nearby. Excellent beers, great atmosphere and nice locals. If I lived nearby it would be my local.
