Very noisy cafe not at all relaxing I thought the cake was rather on the expensive side and the coffee was dire I took it back. It was not a flat white the lady said yes it is it?s flat, I have drunk flat white for a very long time it was awful, she then said it was the milk they use!!!!!!! I wouldn?t visit again

Pleasant place to visit and general gardens well kept. The tea room is very crowded and noisy not a relaxing place to visit. Good service but far too small, needs extending, good service. Garden centre has good selection but quite expensive. Bought a packet of seeds and when I got home found they are a year out of date. Too far to take them back.

We do enjoy coming to Ashwoods Tearoom each week. It is always busy and there is always a warm welcome. The quality of the food is excellent too.
However the nice touches that were included pre-covid have never returned. That is a saucer with doily instead of just a mug, a complimentary small biscuit with each hot drink. They are small things but do make a difference.
As for the quality breakfast it is such a shame that small changes can no longer be made to ingredients - only the standard breakfast is now available.
Because of these changes we reduced the rating to 4 stars.

After our visit yesterday we will definitely NOT go again. We have been eating here for many years but this has now come to an end due to the rudeness of 3 members of tearoom staff ! Firstly we were spoken to extremely rudely by the person at the counter when we ordered food. As if that wasn't enough 2 other staff members commented that
'I wish they'd hurry up and go' !!! Not a remark to make you feel welcome. We had coffee on arrival followed by lunch and a cold drink. We were not sitting chatting for a time without consuming food/beverage so I don't see that we were holding anyone up. There had been people waiting for tables whilst we were there but not at the point of the remark being made.
If the staff can't accept that we chose to spend our money in their work environment then we can and will go elsewhere in future.

Went with my sister today . Had a lovely lunch and cake , also had cappuccino coffee. I returned mine to ask if they could top it up as it was almost half froth . Well they didn?t look at all happy and topped it up with a shot of coffee which made it extremely bitter !!!!
Very sad as it was genuine we normally love going and are customers in the garden and shop . Disappointed

My favorite Nursery for sometime, everything you could possibly want, the gardening book section is immense,and also you can see plants growing in their production area.
It's a gem of a Nursery,visit it soon you won't be disappointed.????Love it.

Twice now ive had fried egg with breakfast and twice the egg hasnt been cooked properly! Clear Jelly on the top both times, safer over cooked than under cooked, spoilt the breakfast. Otherwise the food was nice, but you need to slow down and cook it properly, have a word with the chef before you make someone ill !!

Although I have not visited this garden centre I have just bought a large number of Heather plants from them by on-line mail order and wanted to thank them for the very fast delivery (24 hours from confirmation of order) and the exceptional quality of the plants. Based on this experience I would highly recommend Ashwood Nurseries to anyone thinking of buying plants on-line and having them delivered. Excellent quality, fast delivery and great communication. Really enjoyed this garden centre and will definitely return.
Loads of variety, good signage and liked how the varietys of plants are grouped together.
Good healthy plants, dog friendly and good prices.
Next visit will go on the weekend so can have a look around the gardens also .
