I decided to book a sight test because of a deterioration in my close-up vision. I was impressed with the excellent customer service, advice, choice and pricing at Specsavers Halesowen. I only had to wait a few days to collect my glasses as well. A very good experience overall and I recommend Specsavers Halesowen.

Worst opticians I have ever come across in my entire life, staff here are very unprofessional, rude, cannot follow simple instructions and have not a clue about customer service, bought £150 pair of hugo boss designer glasses upon collection only to have the hugo boss logo cleaned off with alcohol, refused to repair and told by staff Angelica that the supervisor Nabil banned me from the store for whatever silly reason, however my rights to a refund were given so chose not to repair their faulty cheap made glasses which clearly are not designer quality. Service is so poor here they promise call back from their supervisor Nabil only to never have heard from him at all. I had to come into their branch just to speak to their secondary supervisor Tracey only to be told by her she has no authority to issue any goodwill gesture nor repair. Why is she a supervisor if she doesn't have authority? Does not make sense. Specsavers more like Fakesavers. Only keen on taking your money selling glasses made with cheap materials and sub branding them as a 'designer' pair. Do not even waste your money here they are time wasters and liars and terrible at their jobs. Won't ever be coming back here. Cannot even perform basic tasks like issue a sales invoice. How hard can that be? Seriously this opticians is a joke and should be shut down permanently and replaced. They make promises they can't keep and just end up wasting your time and make you chase up problems to solve yourself. Also the phone lines are always busy and make you wait in queues- disgusting. Go to a better opticians that sell you quality glasses i know i will be- enough said!
And shortly after my review the 'owner' has this to say- Could you please reach out to us on either Facebook, Instagram, or X (Twitter)? We really want to take a closer look into this for you.
My response is how about you reach out to me since I gave my contact number, address and email address which should be in your system. Look it up and contact me i have no reason to reach out to you since your staff provided a bad service to me, you were meant to reach out to me in the first place despite me telling your staff numerous times to do so. It's called looking after your customer if you want my custom then value me as a person not a policy and admit to faults and come to a resolution to satisfy me and to compensate me for this outrage I experienced instead of ousting your valued customers.

My visit to Specsavers Halesowen was amongst one of the best I have received throughout my visits so far.
Special mention goes to Henry, who fitted my glasses. He took great care with listening to my needs and is fluent at both English and Cantonese.
For those who speaks Cantonese as their first language, I recommend them to speak to Henry.
Thank you - I will visit you again when I'm due for my next eye test in two years time!

Appointment procedure was efficient with convenient appointments available.
The registration at appointment was efficient and the wait for the tests was minimal.
The examination was though and the optician fully explained each procedure.
A full summary of the results and change in eye condition was provided.
The optician fully discussed the best means to correct the discussed condition.
