I?ve been working 3 years for a 4 star hotel in Belfast as a housekeeper and I know well what it means cleaning a room in a short time. Honestly I was literally impressed seeing how clean was my room. Kind and friendly people working there. Definitely going to be back next year. Amazing hotel for a great price! Stayed for two nights.Nearby activities: Dudley ZooFood & drinks: Great value breakfast and dinner/lunch

Super Travelodge, ideal for BCLM, right next door and just a 10 minute walk to Dudley Castle & ZooFiona and Kate were very friendly and helpful, Travelodge should be very pleased to have these two as members of their staff !!

Very good value for money as usual and breakfast was very good.Negatives -Shower head wasn't staying up so had to improvise.Hallway outside room smelt of cannabis one night and then urine the next day.Would be nice if Travelodge could put higher up locks on the doors in their family rooms as to stop toddler from opening. Also lock in bathroom door wouldn't go amiss.Couldn't fit toddler bed rail guard on to the bed as mattress is stuck to the frame.Phone signal not great. However, friendly staff and convenient location. Would stay again.

Went with our family for one night to the black country museum. The service and rooms were lovely. The staff were excellent to the point one member Marie lent us an umbrella. Breakfast was fantastic. We are very impressed with our stay and recommend to anyone thinking of staying. Many thanks from Dave and Pat Burrows and the

If you are going to Dudley Zoo/Black Country museum, then this is a perfect hotel well within walking distance of both. The free car park is big, easy to access and disabled parking opposite reception. Smoking area outside. We stayed in a family room which had lots of space and was very clean and comfortable. Tea/coffee/extra towels/pillows in the room. Breakfast was just ok. The quality of food didn't reflect the £10 charge, choice was ok. We were on level 2 facing the car park above reception.I would probably request a room on the other side next time, as lots of smokers/late arrivals making noise outside the entrance. Traffic noise wasn't too bad.

The reception team Never smile. Ask how your day is. Or anything. I will be telling the area manager also that the disabled parking spaces are still being abused by non disabled badge holders and that the reception team or manager show any compassion or care about
