Spend a lot of money in here and PROMISED the more you spend the more reward points you get, this is not the case, even after the reward card is scanned the points do not go on, am I the only one to notice this ? When the problem was pointed out to staff all she said was ?yes it?s a waste of time really?.
Sort it out Asda

Majority of the staff need a personality transplant.
There were 4 chatting with each other by the medicine shelf so I said excuse me the one turned round, rolled her eyes and then she moved - they carried on with their conversation which was about another member of staff that they didn't like.
Today I brought a cherry bakewell cake off the bread counter and it tasted like lemon cake. It looked like a cherry bakewell, but it was definitely lemon. The staff were probably too busy chatting.

There is almost never the items you need. It feels more like a large corner shop than a main shop for a town. They constantly have no stock of staple items and the answer is that it's head office who don't care about stock. Despite living only 5 min walk away we almost always drive 15 mins to Tesco as they actually have items (even Tesco express have more than this asda)
Now that aldi is open I'm yet to have to go to asda after aldi....but always going to aldi to get things asda didn't have...shocking.
Only saving grace is most of the staff are nice. A few aren't but that's normal for any shop!

I think the staff could have better customer service skills. The one walked past me when I said excuse me so I had to say it again and his colleague answered. It was like they thought I should have known the Easter eggs were sold out. Otherwise the Asda is okay and quite decent.

I bought different kind of fruits in this store, most of it are low quality. Last purchased pear and it looks wood after cut at no taste.
This store never provide vegtables like parsley and coriander like other shops. What is provided in pots are so expensive at no value for cooking.
THIS IS THE TIME ASDA BUSINESS OWNER LOOK INTO THE BRANCHSES LIKE SEDGLEY AND PRODUCTS QUALITY LIKE VEGTABLES AND FRUITS ALSO THE PRICES.

This evening I went to Sedgley Asda, after I made my purchases at the self service, I made for the exit, before I reached the exit I was abruptly approached by a store colleague named Donna demanding I empty my pockets as I had stolen some alcohol, this was in front of a store full of customers, in total shock before I had a chance to react she reaches an places her hands in my pockets. Absolutely livid I told her to take her hands off me, she was then shouts customers have told us you have been stealing and have placed alcohol in your trousers. She then so rudely said oh it?s not you it might be and pointed to another male of ethnicity but did not stop him from leaving the shop. I asked to speak to the manager, the duty manager Mike came and apologised and said this would be dealt with. I will be escalating this to the highest level as nobody deserves to be treated like that and no store colleague has the right to put their hands on a customer let alone in their pocket. I am utterly disgusted in the events that took place tonight and Donna?s behaviour needs to be addressed. The event took place shortly after 19:13 on 20/12/24 by the entrance/exit.

A very good place to shop for all your needs

Honestly, shocking as of lately. Pot luck if you get what you go in for. Half the stuff isn't priced up either. Scruffy upkeep, smelly fridges, random cages and boxes scattered throughout. Really gone downhill.

had lengthy wait at kiosk yesterday. no one came to assist poor woman working alone, who was very polite and friendly, considering the stressful conditions. she was even expected to get first aid assistance in the middle of serving customers!

Happy to help Asda, except when you won't, totally gob smacked by the lack of help today was scan and go and onions didn't have a label, because they've blocked the way couldn't quickly grab a new pack and the bloke on the service wasn't willing to help just told me I had to go round and get a new one, I'd already walked round the store with heavy shopping and needed just a little bit of help here I ended up handing him the onions back.
