Always ridiculous queues, no tills open, just the kiosk which is a nightmare due to parcel collections and drop offs, SCO attendants slow to respond and often too busy having a chat.

Absolutely poor and disappointing service in this store.
The self service card payment machines are ridiculous and faulty or target customers collectively.
I was on purchase groceries and bottle of whisky. I scanned all Items and on my debit card payment, Several times that machine stopped my transaction by SPOTTING ME AS UNDER AGE TO BUY THAT BOTTLE OF WHISKY!!!!!
I AM 57 YEARS OLD.!!!!
It's been repeated again and again, security staffs got involve, other staffs'got involve. Finally they seperated bottle of wisky, groceries separately went through by my debit card transaction.
As much as this declined happended because of just WRONG AND FAULTY MACHINE OPERATION, AND STAFFS COULDN'T RESOLVE THE PROBLEM my bank blocked my debit card transactions after that and sent me a msg that suspicious transactions happended and my card will be blocked if it wasn't me.
I replied to them it was me who was struggled with just a simple purchase in ASDA STORE HIGH STREET.
You know what I did? I just returned all rest of purchase and I asked for a refund.
I WILL NEVER EVER GET BACK TO YHE ASDA. THIS BUSINESS IS NOT AS WELL AS IT WAS BEFORE.
I just left there in pain and sorrow.???

Lots of people,no tills open.had to resort to putting trolley of shopping through self service,total nightmare.never again!

Shopping there for about 3 years now and really try not to.
Everyone will agree the till situation is appalling. The self checkouts...ok, but why have larger trolleys outside if they aren't going to open the normal tills to scan?
Everytime I get to the till, I always end up leaving some item from the fruit and veg section as something will always be slightly off or mouldy on closer inspection.
To top if off this year, heavily pregnant and one too many bags, had a basket taken from me at the tills and told bluntly I couldn't take it outside. No offer to help or anything.
The staff there hate their jobs.

I wanted to take a moment to commend Jane for her exceptional customer service. Every time I visit the ASDA store, she is always there with a friendly smile and a willingness to help. Her positive attitude is infectious and truly brightens up my day. Jane is a valuable asset to your team and deserves recognition for her outstanding work.

Worst supermarket I've ever seen.
Prices high
Limited stock.
Staff do nothing except chat apart from the manager.
Nobody goes on the tills.
I'll try and avoid as much as I can

Absolutely shocking behaviour from the managers at this store.
I've shopped there for many years and have never had any issues untill certain managers/workers were employed.
I've never been treated so badly, when all I came to do was make a complaint at the store. The stress and worry it has caused is unacceptable.
I shall be making a formal complaint against those involved.
I never complain about anything, but what has happened at this store, needs investigating immediately.
I also agree with posts below.
Challenge 25 and such like.
There are staffing issues, which are causing major problems for customers.

Everytime I've gone in to this store this woman called Jane has always gave me dirty looks and judged me and today has pressurised me in to giving her a good review telling me to make sure I say I was highly satisfied. I was at a self serve check out and she embarrassed me by serving me and pressing the buttons. If I wanted help I would of asked.
