Haven't been to Aldi for a very, very long time, so I have never encountered their self-scan tills. I must admit I don't like having to use them anywhere and try to avoid them!
Fortunately, there was a very nice, well-spoken young lady supervising the checkouts this evening, and she was so helpful when I told her I'd never used them before.
She explained to me what to do and popped back throughout the transaction to check I was ok and showed me how to put through multiple items and how to pay at the end.
Aldi has gained a new customer due to your excellent customer service skills!
Thank you so much for your help. I loathe grocery shopping, and you turned it into a pleasant experience!
