AWFUL. The manager was so utterly rude to me and my partner when we visited here not long ago. We were being judged the whole time we felt so uncomfortable we ate our food quicker just so we could get out of there. We had a table booked but they said that there was an error with the booking system and we must wait in the bar area however we have to buy a drink if we were going to wait which was very weird? We must of waited for around 15 minutes and people coming in after us were being seated before us. Once we got seated and sat down the manager came back over to us and asked us to move and very rudely said that is not where she asked us to sit (the place was empty)! I will never return here which is a shame as I am local and visited quite often however since the manager still works there I will not be returning the way she judges customers.

We visited today on 30 th march for mother's day, we enjoyed our time at Toby carvery, it was nice to meet Jules at the front desk very friendly and welcome, we had Jasmine looking after us ,she was great making sure we all ok ,Thank you hope to see you soon .

*UPDATE* went for breakfast this morning and it wasn't very nice, the eggs were rock hard, the mushrooms were shrivelled and rubbery and can tell they were tinned rather than fresh! Staff were friendly it was just the food that let it down!

FOOD POISONING!! This place has gone down hill badly. Big rats running round as you walk in. Told could use a voucher and then told can?t when came time to pay. Then to top it off had food poisoning for 2 days after we left. Reported all this to the venue. Their reply is a joke. Take no responsibility for any of it. Nothing offered to resolve it. No wonder everyone saying this place is on its last legs. Terrible place. Was good years ago. Avoid like the plague? which you might catch here with all the rats outside.
*UPDATE* (pic of receipt added) And now they have replied to this with lies!! I?ve got the emails going back and forth with the company. And Mitchell and Butlers have emailed me a questionnaire to complete for the food poisoning investigation. I told them simply refund my money for the meal. But they ignored that and now lie on reply here. Total disgrace of a business. It was 1000% your business and if u look at other recent reviews they saw the rats out front too! AVOID!!!

Be warned please people.
We stopped off here for a carvery before going to the airport to catch a flight. Biggest mistake we made. The food was beyond terrible. The servers are so rude even when you try to still be polite. The couple sat by us left most of their food. They complained to the lady and she told them ?ur the only ones that have complained? . We did say ours was dry and wasn?t very nice. She then rolled her eyes and said she will tell the chef. And that was it! Nothing resolved and we didn?t see her again. Really really bad.
To make it worse we got really sick during our 10 hr flight to Mexico. I?d say it was from the carvery as we hadn?t eaten much most of that day as we travelled down from Newcastle.
Will be reporting this to Heath and safety when we return from our holiday and to their head office. Shockingly bad all round

This was our regular carvery to visit when ever we came out for one. What happened to this carvery?? The food was terrible. All over cooked veg and potatoes or old dry meat. The service is terrible. Jasmine was talking to other staff about some customers and they were laughing and making fun of them. It was really uncomfortable to hear and watch. The staff all seem tired and like your bothering them if you ask 4 anything.
And as we were leaving another lady outside look distressed as she just saw 2 rats run off as they were walking out. It was a total waste of our night and such a let down. We won?t be coming again. Will try the Knowle carvery next time even though it is much further journey for us. Such a shame. Hopefully they get new managed and staff and quality control on the food they serve in future

I've been going to Stonebridge for several years for breakfast and sad to report standards have slipped over recent visits. Today was the low point. Very little breakfast choice, no mushrooms chef said they hadn't got any, hair in the hash browns, no Yorkshire, one egg available, dirty cups for the tea and no potato options.
The last time we will be going. I did tell one of the staff I was disappointed..her response was "we haven't had any complaints latley" which kind of said it all really.
