Really good chippy. Fish is so nice and crispy, the curry sauce is absolutely amazing too! Chips could?ve been a little crispier but I?m nit picking here ? definitely recommend trying!

Called in yesterday for five portions of fish and chips. Had a little wait as fish was freshly fried. Gotta say everything was fantastic. Great portions of fish and chips at a great price. Thanks.

Just popped in and ordered battered sausage. Chips. And curry sauce. £7 it cost. And was rubbish chips i think have been re heated. Sausage was very dry. But on a positive note the curry sauce was nice.

I went to Aldermans Green chippy but they wouldn't accept card payment for less than £5, so I googled and headed off to Star Fish Bar instead.
I've never been here before, but they were happy to take my card payment, and the fella was chatty and friendly too. I've waited 2 weeks to get my chippy tea, and it was worth the wait. I won't be bothering Aldermans Green Chippy with my small order again!

Wasnt aware it was under new ownership! Explains the poorest kebab ive eaten in a long while! The first day of the football season cov at home and u have the kebab machine turned off! Kebab meat dry hard and pitta not cooked just fell apart. The salad lettuce brown and clesrpy

1.Shocking customer service - Guy behind the till with glasses is rude
2. Food is not nice it's that simple!
My advice - quit while your behind and If you can't hack the heat then get out of the kitchen!

Hi not sure everyone is aware but this chip shop is under new management and I have to say its taken a huge turn for the worse.
Been in here at least three times since the new management and nothing is ever ready and cooked to take out straight away. You have to wait 25 minutes plus for your food.
The food is partially cooked put in to the hot plate and then once you put your order in the food is fried off.
Slow service, poor customer service and you have a mouthy guy behind the counter who wants to argue rather than help the customer.
These guys are amateurs and the food is not nice either!
DONT GO HERE - GO LONGFORD CHIPPY OR TRAVEL TO BEDWORTH FOR CHICK KING!

No salt or vinegar on the chips, no chilli or salad on kebab, flavourless, clearly cannot understand simple orders.Meat had that much grease, John Travolta showed up at my door.Avoid if you want good food.
