I am leaving Santander asap. With the working hours and reductions of staff not really seeing the point of not being with Nationwide or an online bank. I cannot believe it's so hard to deal with a bank anymore. Sad days ahead ?

It is a totally paranoid bank. I pay for some suppliers for over 10 years in total millions pounds. But it asked me code to pay. I gave codes. After this confirmation Y or N. I confirmed. As the result came a suggestion that I have to contact bank. Especially annoying is that it was Friday evening and Saturday p.m. Guess what? Customer service is not working. It was a problem to pay less than £10.

The rudest and most unprofessional staff I've ever come across. They lock the doors when customers are inside and won't let them out until they've finished what they are doing. One guy pleaded with them to open the door as he needed medication. The woman who had the key just laughed and said no.

The staff here were excellent.When I went into the store for the first time to open an account, a lady at the front explained what to do, how to do it and where to go which was brilliant. Every time I have gone in I have had no issues with depositing money.Even when I had an issue with my money, we went into store and this was rectified within a few daysBrilliant store, hopefully the move to online banking won?t happen too soon!

I have been a customer for almost 15 years with 3 accounts, I find it totally unacceptable that a large city like Coventry has only one branch , for people that work but also want to visit the branch its impossible , notT

Provided personal details and a change of account form to a staff member. Santander LOST the form and do not know what has happened. WHAT is even this??? Am I about to have my money stolen because you misplaced some paper? How can you not know where sensitive forms are???
