What a difference a change of management makes. Got a cheery greeting from the guy behind the counter and he even offered to open up the post office. Nice to also see what looked like Indian starters at the counter. I?ll be back. Massive improvement on what it was like before.

We attended last night as a festive party of 17. When we arrived we was greated by staff which was lovely and also our table was presented beautifully. Our meals was an absolute 10/10. Compliments to the chef. We had a great night and will definitely be returning

This is my local pub, I come every week without fail and the staff never fail to brighten my day. Food is cheep & tasty & always such a friendly atmosphere. So glad it?s my local.

Visited with family to celebrate my near Christmas birthday. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas and, as we had pre-ordered the Festive menu, our table was all set up with crackers, etc. The food arrived quickly and at £14.99 per head for 2 courses was an absolute bargain! The turkey was succulent and the dinner itself was huge! Staff even noticed that we?d run out of gravy and brought out more without having to be asked. We were quite full but the puddings were so nice that we managed to squeeze them in! Little gem of a place and definitely worth a visit!!

A group of three of us thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal at the weekend. Locally recommended we weren't dissapointed. Excellent service, value for money from an extensive menu. Well worth visiting if in the locality.

A group of 8 of us went on a Friday night for dinner. The restaurant was busy but the service was very good. We did not wait long for our food, all meals were lovely, and all small requests were accommodated. And all for a reasonable price. Very good overall.

We ordered on the gf menu. When it arrived it wasn?t what we ordered as what we ordered wasn?t gf. So tasted really bland and basically was rubbish. Certainly won?t be going back.

We visited on our way home to Kent from Manchester for a late lunch. The restaurant was busy because of the football but when I asked about being in a quieter area, they came back to us when a table was free to offer it. Food was really tasty and good value for money, my husband and I had the chicken sharing platter and there was so much food! I had an ice cream sundae and it was delicious and the kids had massive sundaes. Staff were friendly and welcoming. But best of all was the after care we received. Unbeknownst to us, we left our son's wallet with all his birthday money in on the table. When I realised the next day we didn't have it, I started working my way through all the places we'd been. I rang the pub and spoke to Hayley. She asked me to confirm what type of wallet then said they had it and had been hoping we'd call as they knew it must belong to our little boy as she'd been working the day before and remembered us. She was so friendly and happy for us. She took our details and sent the wallet back recorded delivery (as we live too far away to pop back). I offered to reimburse her but she refused. She then checked n after to make sure we'd received it. We are so pleased there are such honest and helpful people in the world ?

I went with my grandma to have some food. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Caz behind the bar was very helpful and polite.

We had a big group us plus young children booked in for a family meal, theres a large selection of choices on menu including offers too! The staff were all very welcoming & helpful especially as there was a lot of us, we all really enjoyed our meals.

Toilets are absolutely disgusting dirty toilets Toilet seats off or sliding off errrr I will not use them again I will hold it till I get home

Obnoxious bar man. Unattentive Manager. Never welcoming and always ignored. Been to this establishment a few times now and everytime is the same experience. Would not recommend and definitely won't be retuning. She also discriminates against dog owners due to "someone leaving a mess" ?Disgraceful. We use to always come down with are beloved dog. Saying all that.. there are a few staff there that go above and beyond.
