This is a treasure house. They have so many things on sale not just books. Amazingly well organised. Worth going to Coventry just to visit this shop!

Absolutely a small Alladins cave in Coventry. A select collection of 2nd hand books magazines and other interesting items at rock bottom prices. For those who are comic fans even several bundles available, never know may find that missing one that the dog ate last week!

A real gem. It has various vintage items and a selection of comic books and graphic novels as well as normal charity bookshop stuff.PS: if you're looking for a popular / famous book and can't see it then ask the staff. They've got more in storage that they don't have shop floor space for.

A very good shop for second hand books ? ??

It's got a decent ish collection of pop culture and older ephemera, but they price everything far too high. Prices should probably be about half the cost for most of the items I've been looking at.

Wonderful comic book section at the back, not only consisting of the usual Marvel/DC but also a great deal of independent comics. Ranging from 49p - £1.99. Amazing to pick up works by Jim Woodring, Peter Bagge and Howard Chaykin in Coventry.

An excellent selection of books. The railway, military history and SF sections all very decent. They had an eclectic selection of about 300 comics and stamps and posters. It's crammed with books, definitely one for book people.

This is a great store for used books, tapes, and DVDs. It's kept extremely tidy, so you can easily zero in on your favorites. The prices are very reasonable. It's close to Coventry University, and the other Coventry shopping areas.

This is a specialist books and music outlet, although it carries some fair trade items. The volunteers are enthusiastic about the stuff they sell. The range is ever-varied, of course, but you frequently come across limited editions, first editions and other collectors items that are hard to get hold of. For the most part prices are fairly reasonable, fairly expensive for a charity shop, but this is more of a traditional secondhand book shop that just happens to give all of its profits to charity. Occasionally the prices are pie in the sky, with the price you would expect to pay for a mint example being placed on a tatty, poor example. On the other hand, I have on occasion had to point out that they should be asking far more for certain rare books. There is also a small fairtrade display at the entry to the store, and an ancient photocopier (although the copies are cheap!)
