Such an amazing ambiance, parking right outside, amazing treatment. Very aesthetic environment. Our main waiter Tipu was absolutely amazing and provided us with such amazing service and a wonderul experience.

What an awful experience. Went with friends as we had read some good reviews. Firstly we were unaware they didn't serve alcohol. That wasn't a problem for us but feedback from us is to the restaurant is to make that clear on the website. Our next experience was we had to ask for them to take our order after 30 minutes. When taking the order we were asked if we wanted it spicy. 3 of the party had ordered spicy dishes I.e. madras so it was a strange question. The waiter seemed to think that we couldn't handle any spice. So strange as never been asked this before. Anyway, warm plates came out and we waited for our food but that wait was at least 5 mins and our plates were cold and our food only luke warm. As for the food itself it was bland, hardly any spices and below average. When we told the staff we were met with some indifference. Anyway we go to pay and ask for the card machine to only to be told they only took cash. Who takes that amount of cash out and how do you know it is cash only. Well we managed to find £140 only then for them to come back with here is the cash machine. What sort of establishment is this. Why would you ask for cash? Is this some sort of avoidance? Anyway we paid cash but the whole experience was not pleasant.

It certainly was an unforgettable experience but it was not a good one. I frequently dine out and this is by far the worst dining experience I have ever had. My main dish, chilli chicken ginger, was served lukewarm and any spices were so subtle to the point of being non existence nor was there any chilli heat. When ordering the waiter kept telling us the dishes would be spicy enough even though I asked twice for mine to be very spicy/hot. The diner knows how they like their curry and the waiter should accept this, make a note for the chef so as to ensure the food is served to the required flavour profile.The fact Jhoom is alcohol free is not clearly advertised on their website. This wasn't a big issue, however I ordered a diet coke but it was not delivered, so I had to order again. On presentation of the bill we asked for the card reader only to be told they only accepted cash - where was that advertised. We scratched around to find sufficient money only for the waiter to return many minutes later with a card reader. Paying by card is the primary payment method these days, what was it about our table that initially meant paying by card was not an option. Jhoom has an impressive entrance it's just a shame this impressiveness didn't extend to the overall dining experience. I will not be returning.

New place thought I?ll give it a try but honestly I wouldn?t go back. To book a table I had to pay £30.00 which I was told it would be deducted from the bill but wasn?t.The place decor was stunning but the atmosphere the staff at the entrance her attitude was rude not bothered.We ordered two mocktails which were small glasses which cost £10 each and it was very bland just syrup and juice also had starters fish and chicken the chicken was decent but the fish had a thick layer of masala on it and it tasted as if it had been left out and reheated wasn?t made fresh. Then we ordered a chicken jalfrezii which had no taste what so ever literally was sweet and no chilli no salt nothing so we sent it back and asked for something else in which looked as if they mixed the same dish with some chillies and reserved the same thing. So disappointing considering the place is so beautiful.So we didn?t eat that either I think they need to have a word with the chef as he doesnt know how to make nice khrahi. Anyway the only reason why I am giving this place a 2 star is because of the service from the manager he seen that we didn?t like the main course curry asked if it was ok what was the issue and he took it off the bill which was very nice of him to do so my husband had tipped him for that. But honestly this place would smash it if they had better food and car parking too. The next day I called remembering that I had paid £30 to reserve the table the lady on the phone was so rude just said manager is here @7 so I agreed to call back later I just have called about 20 times she would answer and cut me off one time she actually was laughing when I asked again to be put through to the manager such horrible customer service very rude she needs some manners yes I get it?s Diwali and haloween today but there?s a way of talking she was so rude I don?t know why jhoom would employ someone like that !!
I would not recommend this place I even traveled from Birmingham just to come to this restaurant was a waste of time and money
